About the property

Two Bedroom, One Bath, Porch Swing, Outdoor Patios with Tables & Chairs

This charming home features two bedrooms, one bath, a dining room, a large living room with a fireplace, a breakfast nook, washer/dryer, and lush landscaping! The home is in an old neighborhood built at the turn of the century, and you're just a short walk or drive to downtown.

We have coffee, tea, and condiments ready for you when you arrive. The home is used by our family sometimes, so you may find a good bottle of wine or spirits left in the fridge. Guests are welcome to anything in the home.

Children and pets are welcome! There is off street parking in front and back. The house is equipped with a Broadband WiFi connection, wireless color printer, and AppleTV with Netflix and other services in lieu of cable services.

About Andrew Baker or Chris Adams

We currently live in Baton Rouge, but we're Natchez natives. We visit Natchez regularly to help with the operations at our family home, Lansdowne Plantation, and catch up with old friends.

Andrew Baker or Chris Adams purchased this bungalow in 2016

Why Andrew Baker or Chris Adams chose Natchez

We chose this house because of its central location, historic charm, and it was furnished. We needed the house for family members who spend the holidays at Lansdowne but want a private place to stay during their trip. We decided to rent it out to keep it from getting stagnant, and we couldn't have hoped for a better outcome!

What makes this bungalow unique

This house gives you a true sense of what it feels like to live in Natchez. The neighborhood is one of the most sought after in the city, and you'll find a very diverse group of neighbors. Natchez is a little bit of everything all packed into a small town, and you're right in the middle of everything!

Cozy cottage in Natchez.

  • 4 of 5

Everything was great. Very clean, cute cottage with everything we needed. My only suggestion is the front and especially need some trimming. We stayed here last year and incorporated some of the landscaping ideas into ours at home. Just needs some trimming.

Nice, clean well furnished house close to downtown Natchez

  • 5 of 5

Four of us visited Natchez for the Spring Pilgrimage 2018. It was a nice get away for a girls weekend. We absolutely loved staying here and the house was perfect for us. There were no surprises and the house is exactly as pictured. There’s a lovely backyard with patio table and chairs and we were looking forward to spending some time outside in the evenings but the weather didn’t cooperate. It’s the perfect setting to put your feet up after a long day of touring houses. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. We were able to walk to some restaurants when the weather permitted. We loved the keyless entry system and the Roku TV system worked well for us. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home in a great neighborhood

  • 4 of 5

Great neighborhood, the house was nice and clean. The only problem we had was no blinds on the windows.... see-through shears did not give us a secure feeling.

quaint southern charm

  • 5 of 5

The house provided all the necessary elements to make our stay in Natchez great. It was centrally located, the backyard was fenced so Oz could get off leash for a few days, the beds were very comfortable, and the Wifi worked like a charm.

Suggestions: Because the bathroom window faces the two story apartment building next door you might consider a shade on the window. You might consider putting a simple step by step instruction sheet near the living room tv.

Convenient Cozy Cottage

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Twin Olives for our daughter's 10th birthday. She had requested a trip to visit Natchez and tour some of the historic homes as she had read about at school. The cottage is very cozy and roomy. Very centrally located in the historic district and a few minutes from the MS River. The owner is very accommodating and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will visit again.
