This home is an old Victorian-Era home that was built as two homes (one side is for guests and the other side is for the owners). The Sweet Arrow Inn at the Historical Ricker House is located in the quaint borough of Hummelstown. History abounds in this beautiful Victorian home built in 1890 by a local builder living two houses away. Four families have cared for this home over that past 126 years. It has been completely renovated with keeping all the charm.
The guest side of the home has two beautiful bedrooms, each with it's own in-suite bathroom. There is also a balcony off of the bluebell room. There is a beautiful parlor to relax and watch TV, dining room and a beautiful kitchen complete with all the amenities. Out the kitchen door is a patio and table for dining outdoors.
This home is perfect for one or two couples, although older children are fine too as there are antiques and breakables to complete the ambiance.
We are a few blocks from restaurants and shopping - beautiful gift shop, pharmacy, antique mall, walking trail and creek just blocks away. Hershey and Harrisburg 5 minutes by car; Lancaster County 20-30 minutes depending on destination. Local wineries, golf courses, amusement park, zoo, caverns all in the Hummelstown/Hershey area.
