The original rose window, structural pillars, tasteful furniture and modern appliances make this apartment the perfect blend of tradition and style. Furthermore, the dining area, kitchen and living area are open plan and give a spacious yet cosy feel. Consequently, a great place to while away the evenings with family or friends.

Lovely, spacious apartment
Very pleased with the apartment. Spotless, comfortable and a great situation. So close to the centre but also really peaceful and lovely grounds.

Great location for exploring Loch Ness
Modern conversion of old Abbey. Really interesting building to explore, though sadly all shared facilities closed due to Covid. Place was well equipped. And local housekeeping team able to full in any gaps quickly. Mezzanine bedroom over the kitchen is a bit prone to lingering food smells but that is a fairly minor thing.

Stunning historic property in picturesque setting
This tasteful and sensitive conversion of an old Abbey schoolhouse into a beautiful, well-equipped, comfortable and impressive holiday home is breathtaking. Modern convenience combines with gothic architectural splendour to create a unique ambience. The views from the big arch windows are wonderful and the facilities are second to none. A warm welcome from the property managers and a guided tour of the superb facilities (luxury swimming pool in a converted chapel) made us feel at home right away. Will definitely come back.

I wanted to love it more!
First let me start by saying the flat itself is such a unique experience. I loved the building, every detail of the architecture, the grounds, and the proximity to the Loch. It’s even close enough to town that you can cut through a path and get there in just a couple minutes. Then the issues. Honestly it wasn't very clean. There was quite a bit of dust which normally I would overlook but the flat smelled like fried grease. We tried opening the windows to air it out but just couldn’t get the smell out. Then the washer/dryer didn’t work. This was a big trip for us so having washing facilities was extremely important. The host did respond quickly and had someone out to look but the issue couldn’t be resolved. The staff were kind enough to allow me to use the facility washer and dryer but everything came out of the wash with a “musky” odor. When I arrived to Loch Lomond I had to hunt down laundry service and pay around £20 to have everything rewashed. We also couldn’t use the pool, sauna, or steam room. When we booked we were under the impression you could book after 5pm but when we got close to our check in we were told that they couldn’t guarantee a pool reservation after 5 and if they could it would cost £50. I don’t understand this as a lifeguard is not present. I guess in the end if these are things that wouldn’t bother you then go for it. The building is truly amazing but I work very hard for the money I have so the cost of this flat wasn’t worth it.

Beautiful Property, Great for Family
The apartment was spacious for my family of 5 and the grounds were unbelievably beautiful and the town was charming. Loved walking along the water with my kids and playing chess in the inner courtyard.
