My family all come from around Ballycastle and the surrounding area and we love our holiday home. We look forward to sharing it with you and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we do! Apart from spending our holidays in Ballycastle, we enjoy travelling all over the world, especially in Canada and Europe.

Why Owner chose Ballycastle
Lonely Planet', the large travel guide book publisher, named Belfast and the Northern Ireland's Causeway Coast the top place to visit in 2018, so have you been yet? Ballycastle was also named as the best place to live in Northern Ireland by the Sunday Times. Based at 'Rosmarinus' you will be able to visit it all, the Causeway coast as well as the areas close by well-known for being the location for Game of Thrones. Other highlights along the coastal route include the Giant's Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, a perfect location to hike at which is home to seabirds, basking sharks, dolphins and porpoises. Visit nearby Rathlin Island to visit the Bird Sanctuary and see the seals at Rue Point as well as Church Bay. For golfers there is a Links course in Ballycastle and Royal Portrush (home to the British Open 2019) is also close by. Another top tourist attraction is the Bushmills Whiskey Distillery. Sailing and fishing trips can be arranged from Ballycastle’s harbour, there is a dive school located in Ballycastle with 14 dive sites off Rathlin Island and plenty of places nearby to surf at or go coasteering. An ideal family home too, my children love 'The Sweetie Jar' which is literally behind the house and the playing fields opposite the house, if they need more space than the garden!

Great place to stay as a base for exploring the region.
Bright, clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Close to great restaurants and shops. Green and quiet area right off the high street. Perfect.
Fabulous home from home
I would highly recommend this property. The house has everything you could wish for. It’s just like home from home with all your needs catered for. The property was spotless on arrival and we had a very warm welcome by the owners father who was very informative about the property and the surrounding area. The location is ideal as only a few minutes from the beach and local amenities. You are also in a great location to visit the spectacular coastline including the Giant’s Causeway and Raithin Island.
20 mins from the Giant's Causeway and to Portrush Golf Course, home of the British Open 2019.
