Located in New Cross in south-east London, this basement flat has excellent transport links to the West End. The local area is buzzing with jazz bars, old-fashioned pubs, and budget restaurants, making it ideal for both students and professionals. Less than ten minutes on foot to Goldsmiths, this house is well-serviced by public transport. It takes 24 minutes to London Bridge, 30 minutes to Shoreditch High Street, and 38 minutes to Oxford Circus (central London).
Situated in vibrant south-east London, this Victorian basement flat is a comfortable and relaxing space. The flat feels light and airy with its light walls and traditional windows.
LIVING AREA / KITCHEN / DINING AREA
The basement living room has a grey sofa and large dining table. Complemented by an ornamental wooden fireplace, the living room table has space for up to four people. Every morning, light pours in through the Victorian-era windows creating a serene and calming environment for all.
Adjacent to the living room is a small kitchen, which has a modern oven and storage cupboards for dry food and utensils. From the kitchen back door, you can access the garden. Guests have full use of the flat as their own during their stay.
There is one double bedroom in this property. Accommodating up to two people, the period fireplace gives it a contemporary touch. Its traditional windows ensure there is plenty of natural light in the mornings. All beds are spotlessly made up with white, hotel style linen.
Exceptionally clean with a refurbished bath and shower head, the single bathroom has a charming appearance thanks to restored vintage tiles and silver fixtures. Large fluffy white towels and toiletries will be provided for all guests.
Guests have complete access to the flat. Additionally I’ve arranged for a concierge service to be available to you throughout your stay, providing you with free on-demand support for booking restaurants, tickets to shows, transport...or anything else you might fancy! You can also book additional housekeeping services like regular cleans or changes of bed linen. I hope that this will help you get even more out of your stay. Full details will be provided at check-in.
Interaction with Guests:
When I’m not there, you will be hosted by a professional hospitality company who I’ve engaged to look after you in my absence. They are on call to attend to your every need, as I would be.
Situated in south-east London, you will only be a 10-minute walk from Goldsmiths University. If you’re not visiting campus, you may want to explore Greenwich town centre, which attracts millions of tourists thanks to its Cutty Sark, Royal Observatory building, National Maritime Museum, and the Old Royal Naval College.
