There are many places of interest to visit in Goa including overnight safaris or visits to temples. Old Goa is the old colonial capital and has a strong Portuguese influence which is of historical interest including the tomb of St Francais Xavier in the world heritage site cathedral named after him. The vast Anjuna Flea Market is very colourful with 100's of stalls selling almost everything under the sun. In the centre is a large stage with all varieties of different acts on most saturdays throughout the season. The spectacular Dudhsager Falls is the second highest waterfall in India, where you can swim in the pool beneath it, watched by monkeys who feed on bananas from your hand.
There are also seasonal boat trips that offer angling for the keen fishermen as well as relaxing trips that go dolphin or crocodile watching.
