About Valaree (Jodi) Flake
Keith and I bought 36 acres on the Creek in 2001. We built our Lodge in 2006 as a spec home. Real Estate fell, and we kept our home and have rented in out and finally decided to transform the property and home into a Large Group Lodge, with campsites and RV pads.
Valaree (Jodi) Flake purchased this Lodge in 2001
Why Valaree (Jodi) Flake chose Snowflake
At the mouth of the Silver Creek Canyon, and having the only trail out of the Canyon, this property provides stunning views of the Silver Creek Valley, with the Lodge almost at the peak of the hill, overlooking the Valley. The Canyon Creek Lodge is isolated, but only a mile from Snowflake. It's very peaceful, and the hike down to the Creek is invigorating.

Stayed here with my brother and sister to visit my father in Snowflake. Great hiking trails and rock climbing right out the back door. Beautiful property with excellent views and space to wander.
This was our 2nd time staying here. We love the location and number of rooms. We also like the simple and easy way the owner works with us. Awesome place!
Perfect large family get away!
Thanks for an amazing time at your lovely home! We enjoyed the cooler weather on the large balcony and the younger kids and I went on walks every morning to look for rocks to add to their collections. We appreciated having 3 refrigerators to keep all our food in and even though we felt like we were out in such a quiet area Walmart and other shopping was just a quick 5 minute drive away. We also took the kids to Snowflake's brand new splash pad 1 afternoon and they had a blast! The park is less than 2 miles from the home. Traveling with our married kids who have their own kids -the split living areas was so perfect for us! The 2 bedrooms downstairs with their own entry was very convenient. The extra tables on site were also appreciated for afternoon crafting and constant puzzling! We hope to make this a regular place to bring our family for amazing bonding and quiet time! Thanks for sharing your home!!
Excellent location for our family reunion
Plenty of room for our family to gather with just enough seclusion to feel like we were escaping from real life for a few days.
Our group had an amazing experience here and it was perfect for our large group size!
Great. The lodge is great. Is is very spacious. Good for our group of 30.
The main front entrance to the top level of the lodge, with a balcony deck at the back. both top and bottom level have kitchens. It helps to speed up the time for our retreat cooking teams. The back has a fire pit, we are able to collect some dry wood for bon fire. It is Jan, no snow this year, we are able to walk around a little for a short hike. The kids like it. The balcony deck is really nice, facing the eastern sky, you can see the sun rise in the morning.
Very nice stay.
