Fabulous house, set in a tropical garden with pool and stunning sea views

A stunning house with parking, set within beautiful, tropical gardens, which attract numerous Hummingbirds. The swimming pool has a slide,And is gated and fenced for added safety. The property is located a 5 minute walk from a beautiful sandy beach, perfect for swimming, snorkeling and families. And is just 10 minutes from the Cliff Restaurant and Jordans Supermarket. The property is arranged over two floors and includes three large bedrooms with bathrooms, and sitting room and well equipped kitchen. The equipment includes oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, washing machine, large LCD TV, DVD and Sky box. Wireless internet access is also available. A safe is provided. All bedrooms have air conditioning, ceiling fans, double glazing and balconies. The balconies have views of the sea and sunsets. Perfect for alfresco dining and relaxing.

Extra beach facilities: The property is a short walk to the beach and lightweight deck chairs, cool bag and beach towels are all provided for use by our guests. Those guests who enjoy snorkeling will see many species of fish and turtles, just off the beach at Crystal cove, in a clearly marked safe area.

A PADI dive master is on site and details of all other dive schools are available on request.

Boat trips, snorkeling with turtles etc are all available through the Dive master.

A wide variety of water sports are available on the beach at Crystal Cove, these sports include Jet Skis, sailing, Banana boat, Water skiing sail boarding etc.

Glass bottom boat, Para sailing, sea fishing and submarines are also available either off the beach or from Bridgetown.

Dining: Barbados offers an enormous variety of dining options, to suit all tastes and pockets. The premier national dish is Flying fish - dipped in breadcrumbs and deep fried. Rice and peas and Macaroni Pie are popular side dishes.

Other activities: Horse Riding, Horse Racing at the Garrison Savannah, Polo, Cricket at the Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Bird watching, Hiking in the Scotland district is organised through the National Trust, Clay Pigeon and Pistol shooting, Bike tours, Safari tours in 4WD vehicles. The East coast is a world renowned Surfing area and golf is available nearby at Sandy Lane and Royal Westmoreland, both courses offer pay as you play. Bridgetown, Holetown and Speightstown all offer Tax free shopping at a wide variety of shops including Tiffanys, Colombian Emeralds and Diamonds International. Nightlife includes bars, nightclubs, rum shops, floor shows etc.

Notes:
Covered, outdoor dining on upstairs balcony, comfortably seats 8 around large table. The power supply is both 220v and 110v sockets. Designated parking bay within gated area. Access to property is through electrically operated gates. As same day changeovers are not accepted, guests are welcome to stay on their day of departure, and make full use of all the facilities until it is time to leave for the airport. Taxis and/or Car hire can be arranged through a reputable local company. A pay as you go local mobile phone is also available free of charge for guests to use during their stay.

Nice location, comfortable accommodations

Nice three bedroom, two bedrooms on the first floor, kitchen with living room and another bedroom on the second floor . Air conditioning only in the bedrooms , we were afraid that it's going to be hot in the kitchen and living room, but it was OK even while cooking. Open door to the balcony and ceiling fan kept it cool enough . Small details were not overlooked like washing machine, dishwasher, hairdryer, ironing board, clothes dryer line on the back terrace with the clothes pins, even beach chairs . There was a small pool which we did not use, because who needs the pool when the beautiful ocean is just 5–7 minutes walk away . Fitts village public beach is right across the road and it's very nice. It's the same beach used by the Crystal Cove all inclusive hotel with the rooms start with $500 per night and up. A lot of water sports are offered around . The manager, Lawson was very helpful . We highly recommend this place, just make sure you have good communication with owners before arrival. You have to understand that the owners live in England , so it's very important to get all the instructions beforehand.

Nice villa great location

The villa is great and has a brilliant location for accessing the island. Because of high tides on the West Coast which meant that many of the beaches were not accessible, we were using Copacabana Beach Club and the beach at Carlisle Bay, this is just East of Bridgetown and only 15 minutes drive from the villa. Access to the East Coast is also very easy via Holetown and the main highway, it only took us 20 minutes to reach Hunte's Gardens and a further 10 minutes to reach Bathsheba.

We found everything in the villa to our satisfaction, although there was a couple of things that need attention. The dishwasher is not washing properly, we did check the filter, the whole machine needs replacing I think. There needs to be more drinking glasses, both large and small tumblers, plus mugs, and also some more cutlery, especially tea spoons. None of these items caused us any great problems.

We will be booking the villa again in the future as we have found it the best one we have used over the last 20 years of visiting Barbados, not just the actual property, but its location is just great.

A stunning, new, luxurious house set with 6 other properties in tropical gardens with swimming pool. Situated just 150 yards from the beautiful, crystal clear ocean and white, sandy beach at St. James on the West Coast, where water sports are available. The famous Cliff Restaurant and Jordans Supermarket are 10 minutes walk. Sandy Lane is just a 5 minute drive. Holetown is approximately 10 minutes away and has a wide variety of shops, bars and restaurants to cater for all tastes. The three bedroom, three bathroom accommodation is arranged over two, spacious floors, all rooms have balconies and ceiling fans And the bedrooms have air conditioning.
