Tudhoe sits between Spennymoor and Durham, an excellent location for cycling, walking and fishing. Durham city is 4.5 miles, with its Norman cathedral and castle, cobbled medieval streets, and shopping centre, and Durham University is only 3.5 miles away. Visit Beamish Open Air Museum and Barnard Castle (½ hour’s drive). Bishop Auckland Castle is close by, Shildon National Railway Museum is 8.5 miles. The Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District are easily accessible. This property is also ideal for the Durham Lumiere, a light festival extravaganza held every two years.
