Lovely cottage well equipped
Myself and my dog Bella had a lovely week in the cottage . Well equipped and comfortable.
Friendly and helpful neighbours .
Hope to return
Lovely cottage and just what we needed.
Lovely cottage and just what we needed. Good clean condition however the bath/shower is looking a little dirty/tired.
Good supply of equipment and instrucitons.
Dissapointed that Wifi was not available.

The cottage was perfectly adequate but it should be stressed that it is entirely unsuitable for anyone with a disability, as there are fairly steep steps at every turn.
The parking is on street but that is not a problem.
The waste disposal arrangements need clarification, ideally typed out on a sheet in the kitchen and stuck to the wall for all to see and, hopefully, read.
Overall the cottage was very comfortable but it could do with a downstairs toilet, maybe in the small room adjacent to the downstairs bedroom.
Penicuik itself is surprising run-down, obviously due to the enormous new retail park further up the A701 at Stairton.
The bus service is excellent and punctual.
The countryside all around Penicuik is beautiful and the nearness to Edinburgh an obvious bonus.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the neighbours on both sides were friendly and helpful and willing to chat.
