About this property

This unit is in the Worldmark timeshare resort and is managed by Wyndham, ranked #3 hotel group in the USA (after Hilton and Marriott). Wyndham goes above and beyond industry standards to please us, Worldmark owners, so we would extend their managing contract every year. The resort in Kihei has 200 units and the cleaning and maintenance team keeps them in a perfect shape. I've been fortunate to accumulate a lot of Worldmark vacation points but don't have time to use them all. As my guests you will have all rights and privileges of regular owners. If something breaks or you run out of kitchen and bathroom necessities, simply call the front desk and they will take care of everything right away. The resort is located just across the street from a great beach, Kamaole 1, very calm and kids friendly. Resort also offers a nice outdoor pool, hot tub, a children's pool, barbecue grilling areas as well as fitness and recreational centers. No smoking inside the unit, no pets allowed, must be 21 or older to book. At check-in the resort will ask for a credit or debit card damage hold, fully refundable.
Units are assigned the morning of check-in and you will be assigned the best available unit on the day you arrive. Pictures you see here are provided by the resort and represent a typical unit. All units are air conditioned, have similar size and layout, and same appliances, furniture, and supplies.
For your convenience, you will find a starter supply of spices, tea, coffee, creamer, sugar, paper towels, tissues, toilet paper and laundry soap.

Great location, very comfortable units and pleasant staff

The unit is perfectly spacious, comfortable, clean and has a well stocked kitchen. There is a useful care package of coffee filters, dishwasher tablets etc which is restocked halfway through the stay when the apartment is cleaned and linens changed. The pool area is pleasant and nicely landscaped although is smaller than the photo portrays! Good selection of loungers and chairs, tables and umbrellas. It's five minutes walk to a lovely beach. And is easily accessible to cafes, supermarkets and the like. There are areas to barbecue which were easy to access, not sure if we were there at low season but it didn't seem overly busy. Any time we asked questions, needed the AC unit fixing the staff were helpful, polite and very accommodating. I particularly liked the fact that we were given access to an apartment on our departure date as flights were leaving late evening. If you're looking for clean, comfortable and laid back then this is perfect. If you're looking for beautiful views, restaurants and service by the pool then it's definitely not for you.

Great Place To Stay

We had a great time at World Mark Kihei. The resort is clean, conveniently located, and has everything you need. The staff is easy to work with and knowledgeable. The place is spacious and perfect for a family. We will definitely be back.

If your looking for a place to sleep this is it

The overall property is beautiful, however the Condo we rented was in serious need of an upgrade. The appliances were terrible the fridge froze our vegetables which as you know are very costly also the dishwasher did not work causing us to hand wash our dishes. The condo itself was poorly stocked, I guess we were expecting a little more considering we had stayed at other VRBOs and this was by far the worst. The furniture is extremely uncomfortable as are the beds. Our view was of a drainage pipe which cannot be helped. Overall not a pleasant experience for the cost.

Great for families

Perfect location. Easy walk to the beach. Nice pool. Good sized accommodations with everything you need: a/c, towels, pots/pans etc. Our family of 6 had a great stay!

Jerk of an owner - avoid this property

The owner gave us one day notice to leave the property because he had made a ‘mistake’ and double booked the condo. We had booked the property six months in advance - he couldn’t have discovered this mistake earlier?!?! I don’t really believe it was an honest mistake. I feel he knew it was double booked and had his fingers crossed it would all work out. If we hadn’t been extremely lucky to find a condo with a last minute cancellation and was available at a discount, we literally would have had to change our flight and go home halfway through our vacation. In peak vacation season, any condo available at the last minute was completely unaffordable. The amount of stress he caused and the annoyance of packing up and moving ruined a full day for us. Tim, the owner, offered one night at his other unit, but then we would have had to move twice. Don’t stay here
