Excellent stay
Lovely cottage away from it all. We wanted a relaxing break and that’s what we got. We visited the kelpies and Falkirk wheel and popped to friends in Edinburgh. Plenty of fields for our 2 Labradors and a scullery for them to dry off in. We did light the fire in the lounge but not the burner in the kitchen. Did have to turn some heating down as a bit warm for us. Great stay.

Rural Retreat
If spotting deer from your bed and squirrels , hares and a wide variety of birdlife appeals for you then this is a cottage you must consider. It is very comfortable and tucked away in the heart of the original estate.. The farmhouse style kitchen is very well equipped and the beds comfortable. We really liked it. There is a price to pay for the solitude and access to nature you will find that the access roads to the cottage are less than ideal for a low slung sports car, but taken carefully, they are not a problem..

We had a lovely stay at the cottage - the only issue is access by car is stressful! We have a Citreon Berlingo and struggled with the driveways every time, and I’m not convinced our car wasn’t damaged by them. Certain cars wouldn’t manage to get along them at all.
