Tranquilly set in a village with an array of good pubs, this cottage lies close to Ilkley, Skipton and Bolton Abbey, ideal for picnics by the River Wharfe - you can even bring the dog too!
This character cottage dates back to the 18th Century and has been lovingly restored with carefully selected furniture and fabrics which really complement the cottage, creating a lovely relaxing, calm atmosphere in which to enjoy your holiday. It is set in the wonderful village of Addingham, given the ultimate accolade by the Tour De France of passing through twice in the same year. Just a short drive is Bolton Abbey, which is ideal for picnics by the River Wharfe or for exploring the magnificent scenery either on foot or by bicycle. Alternatively, park the car and walk or cycle direct from the door. Ilkley, with its renowned Ilkley Moor and Cow and Calf Rocks, is just 3 miles; here you will find a wonderful selection of individual shops, pubs and restaurants – the village itself boasts five pubs, four of which serve food. For those who like golf, there is a course on the edge of the village. The bustling market town of Skipton is six and a half miles, whilst Leeds is a short train ride from Ilkley – there is something for all ages!
