Spacious, comfortable cottage
Great place to stay as long as you don't mind being a bit out of the way. Lovely spacious accommodation and the added bonus of red squirrels in the garden. We ate out occasionally but mostly self-catered - Sainsbury's delivered food, so that wasn't a problem. And we could walk up Blencathra from the cottage. Keswick provided SUPs, bikes and shops and the Honister 'Climb the Mines' experience was good for a rainy day activity.

Wonderful location, the enclosed garden with play equipment was great for pre-schoolers. Really enjoyed the walks straight from the house.

Great stay
What a wonderful location, in the midst of sheep, at the foot of Blencathra and everything we needed within a 15 minute drive. Plenty of walking opportunities in Lake District nearby. House is comfortable, well equipped kitchen, living room with great views and a TV room for the boys upstairs

Had a great time.
Had a great time. Comfy bed and loved the reclining sofas. Good if you want to do walks straight from the cottage. Excellent for Blencathra. Also easy to drive anywhere once your on the A66. Would recommend Keswick Golf Club for Sunday lunch which is a short walk in good weather. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
