Whithorn is one of the interesting towns in the quiet Machars Peninsula, only 4 miles from the craggy coastline of Scotland’s most southerly point. Wigtown, known as book town, has 18 book shops and is 12 miles away. Bladnoch Distillery, 11 miles. Fishing, riding and golf all available locally. Shops and pub 100 yards.
