Le Petit is a very pretty, spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment on the 1st floor - perfect for 4 people (and many of our guests put 3 children in to the second bedroom so that it sleeps 5). The apartment looks straight out on to the Matterhorn and, as well as the stunning views, it has all the signature Chez Nous touches that transform our apartments from simply being "holiday rentals" into a real home for your stay in Zermatt.
Great care has been taken to create a truly welcoming atmosphere: the pretty sitting room/dining room has a kitchen off it and a large wrap-around balcony that faces out to the field with the lovely old Swiss stadels in the foreground and the Matterhorn presiding in the background. The dining area comfortably seats 4-6 people so you can enjoy meals at home and then in the evenings (or on bad weather days) you can get cosy in front of the 45' home cinema system (with UK channels and Apple TV) watching a film or reading your book and when it is time to sleep the beds are super-comfortable. We also make sure that "the basics" are in stock so that you can make tea/coffee and have a glass of wine without having to go shopping straight away!
If you are part of a larger group of family and friends then combining Le Petit with one of our other apartments can allow you all to be together in the same building but free to retreat to own space when needed. See our other listings for Le Corbassiere (sleeps 6), The Mischabel (sleeps 6-8) and L'Etoile (sleeps 2-3).
All the Chez Nous apartments have 180 degree views straight out on to The Matterhorn, over towards Gornergrat and up the Trift valley . One of the only remaining fields in the village is just in front of us which gives a welcome feeling of space despite being so close to all the restaurants, the church bridge and the lift stations/bus.
The only practical point to bear in mind is that direct access to our building from street level (when you arrive and leave) is down 3 flights of stairs. However once your luggage is installed most guests then use the shortcut to the village via a path across the field in front of the house.
