About Rob Searing, Tracy Apthorpe, Heidi Searing-Post

Our family expanded to Limekiln from the Eagle Bay Park waterfront on 4th lake when Panorama was completed in 1957 and we are now 4 generations deep here, 5 generations going back to the Eagle Bay days.

Rob Searing, Tracy Apthorpe, Heidi Searing-Post purchased this cabin in 1956

Why Rob Searing, Tracy Apthorpe, Heidi Searing-Post chose Inlet

We had the first two lakefront properties in Eagle Bay Park in the early 1920's in addition to a camp on Central Avenue. The family was growing and Robert wanted more privacy despite his love for Eagle Bay, and so was convinced by friends from Rochester to buy this lot in Echo Bay from them. The family could now have much more to share space between Limekiln & 4th Lake, and the serenity of Limekiln was indeed exactly as expected.

What makes this cabin unique

Limekiln is the perfect balance of quiet & activity, nature & proximity to town, and resources for all season fun.

Private Hideaway

What a great camp to stay at. This is our third year here. Tucked away in a quiet bay, on the waterfront. Just an awesome place to spend vacation. Great camp, great swimming, great view.

Cozy and nostalgic

  • 5 of 5

Really enjoyed our visit. Cozy, clean, nostalgic cabin, with a wonderfully designed kitchen area. Views were magnificent, and kayaking wonderful. Friendly neighbors and hosts. Close enough to the off-site venues that we wanted to explore.

Perfect Cabin and location for our family vacation

  • 5 of 5

As soon as we drove in we were confident it was the perfect location for our family. Owners were very friendly and informative when we had questions for them. Loved the fact that we could swim in our own private little area. Would recommend this property to everyone.

Great place, great view!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I chose this cabin for our get-a-away weekend to see autumn color in the Adirondacks. WOW! This was the place to be!. It was clean, well-stocked, easy to communicate with owners. The view of the lake was fabulous...particularly since we hit peak autumn color. We had a great get-a-away. Saw a loon in the lake on Saturday morning just hanging out nearby. I had my big lens and camera and got some great shots. It was fascinating to read the notebook in the cabin on the history of the Limekiln Lake camps.
