The house is located about 5 minutes walk from Speightstown

On the beautiful West Coast. Heywoods, St. Peter, Barbados 5 minutes walk from Speightstown, a quiet and safe neighbourhood. The house has air conditioning in the living/dinning rooms and wall fan's in the bedrooms. It is in close proximity to Almond Beach Village St. Peter. The property is fully furnished with a flat screen TV, DVD, broadband Internet, washing machine, bedding, towels and accessories.

Smoking is not permitted inside the property but is quite acceptable on the verandas.

5 minutes walk to the beach.

10 minutes walk to shops.

(Internet access is provided FREE.)

Bookings: A deposit of one night's rental £50 is necessary to secure the accommodation reservation. Deposits are non refundable. This deposit should be paid at least one month in advance of the proposed booking date.

The rental prices displayed are for up to 4 persons.

Each additional person would cost an extra £50 a week. Maximum 2 additional persons.

Please Note: A £50 non refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking.

The balance is required to be paid in Sterling at least 5 days prior to arriving at the house.

This can be paid via credit/debt card (4.0% surcharge),

So nice to be in a home environment away from home. Enjoyed meeting Steve Rowe, and managed to use his driving skills quite a bit. Found nice changes happening in Speightstown, since our last visit. Enjoyed meeting Eddy at Eddies.



Mark at Juma, Pat at Island Plates, and we were in that bakery everyday. We loved your neighborhood and your very friendly neighbors. I was thrilled to see the garden beside your house, (Gabriel's new backyard I was told) and the monkeys down the street. As you can tell, its my favorite part of the island!

I hope you can get to spend some time on your sunny island.

Great place to stay

I am a wheelchair user and it was difficult to find a suitable place. I came across this property and asked family on the island to look at it for me. I read the reviews and got a good report from my family and booked it with my sister. We were not disappointed. Gabriel met us at the apartment and showed us around. everything we required to make our stay comfortable was made available. Someone was always ready to answer questions or provide us with help/advice if needed. The apartment is great and I recommend it to anyone looking to rent close to a beach at a great price.

Another great stay!

We have returned to the Apartment A for the second time. It is perfect for us - great location - close to some of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Communication with Paul is very easy and booking is always smooth. Jan and Gabriel are also great. The apartment is very clean, spacious, well equipped, and just simply perfect. We have two small kids, so we do miss the dishwasher but other than that we love it and are already planning another trip in May.

Our week in "Paradise"

After we found it, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. 3 adults and a 7month old. Home away from home. We where all very comfortable, location was good. Used Satnav everywhere! And would recommend to anyone, and would stay again.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME

This is our 3rd year in a row at this apartment and we didn't even plan to stay here this year! We decided that we wanted to try the "touristy" end of the island for a change. We booked an apartment in Worthing and stayed for 3 nights in Worthing, just across from Accra beach and it was beautiful, it was much cheaper to live as it is really cheap to eat out and the supermarkets are cheaper than in Speightstown, however, we ended up in a situation where we wanted to leave the apartment we had booked and I spent 2 days trying to book other apartments (Thanks for not even replying owner not too far away!!!). anyway, I saw that this apartment was not booked so I Skyped Paul in Ireland and explained the situation. He just said "get yourself down there, I will call Gabriel and let him know you are on your way". How great was that! Paul I cant thank you enough. we stayed for a week then booked into a hotel in the South for the remainder of our Holiday. It was nice to stay in a different part but if you want value for money, clean and comfortable,excellent location and absolutely EVEYTHING you could need(even noticed a buggy and baby bath this year), a lovely neighbourhood with the lovely Gabriel and Jan close to hand if needed, then LOOK NO FURTHER than one of these apartments. I prefer upstairs because I don't like frogs but I love this place and next time, I wont even bother considering staying anywhere else on the island (unless I have won the lottery).

Excellent stay!!!!

This was an excellent place to spend a wonderful vacation on a truly magnificent island of Barbados. The apartment A, which we rented, is spacious, very clean, and just perfect. It is located in a very nice and safe residential neighborhood about 15 min walk from beautiful local beaches and near the center of town. Bedrooms are spacious, kitchen is quite large and well equipped. Wireless internet is included as well as local and US TV stations. I was a little bit worried about the bedrooms not having an a/c but we have not turned the a/c in the living room on at all - and we are usually big a/c users. There is always a refreshing breeze cooling the apartment down. The owner Paul was great and answered all our question quickly and very efficiently. Gabriel met us upon arrival and explained everything in great detail.

We rented a car because we wanted to see the whole island, but the town bus station is only a short 15 minutes walk, so you can easily manage without a car.We rented a car from Steve, as recommended by the owner and had a great experience as well. Our stay was perfect and we will return to the apartment on our next visit.

One quick note - when shopping for groceries, shop around, local stores and street vendors have the most competitive prices. Avoid gas stations.

Speightstown is a nice little town with great local scene, great shopping and dining options and an excellent bakery that we visited almost daily for very tasty treats.

House in Barbados

The house is very nice and clean, located in a very good neighbourhood near a wonderful beach. Also the owner is very kind and his brother in law was there to welcome us and show us all the details.

I'd surely rent it again and recomend it to all my friends!
