Louise Wild purchased this barn in 2002
It is quiet and rural yet within easy distance of the M5 and just 6 miles equidistant of Great Malvern and Worcester. We have lived here for 12 years and hope to be here for at least another 20 years!
Peace and quiet at the end of a no through road with fabulous walks from the doorstep. Outdoor heated swimming pool, tennis court, games room and woodland walk with private badger hide.

sightseeing in the Malvern Hills
Weekend break with girlfriend, was greeted by David who provided us with a tour of the property while Louise was grocery shopping for us. Lovely location with some great views of the hilltops, we found a stream in the forest nearby which we followed up to the river. Also visited 'Anupam' a brilliant Indian restaurant located a couple of miles away in Malvern, this was recommended by David and Louise and I'm so happy they did, lovely restaurant with great staff, amazing food and for very little cost, highly recommended.
Overall brilliant weekend definitely go again.
Thanks David and Louise
We loved the property and had a lovely stay there. It had everything we needed (and more!) and we couldn't recommend it highly enough!
Great break (2 couples, 1 with small child). Nice quiet location with good grounds for short walks and to entertain the child. Family orientated with good facilities (stair gate, high chair, cot etc). Comfy interior. Friendly owner. Good value for money.
Only suggestion would be double matress on the two single beds together for when couples stay!
This is a delightful, idyllic property with wonderful hostesses who truly care about your enjoyment. We spent 10 days there last spring using this as a base to travel the region and could not be happier. It wasn't 'too' fancy so you could treat it as a home away from home but comfortable and relaxing with unexpected surprises around each corner. If you have mobility problems, the new cabin would be more accessible as the rooms in the barn is upstairs (with excellent views) but each residence has something special to offer. It's a charming location with a good-natured hostess, Louise, who has knowledge of the region and is willing to share. The Fox Inn was a delicious, reasonably priced treat but it was the Roots at Rushwick Farmers Market that was an unexpected joy providing fresh homemade bread, jams, eggs, and applejuice. Yum!! We would be there now if in England and have recommended it to family and friends.
A wonderfully characterful barn conversion without sacrificing practicality. It was a pleasure to stay at hop pickers barn, with Louise proving a brilliant (not overbearing) host. I was particularly taken with her letting my young daughter join in the feeding of the horses and could not recommend it as a base for a young family to explore around the Malvern Hills enough. I can't wait to go back!
Badger Hide and woodland walk on the property.
Walk to the Malvern Hills, explore the cathedral city of Worcester and visit the rural picturesque villages of Herefordshire.
Malvern Theatre just 6 miles away. Lots of local pubs and close to the cider makers in Herefordshire, plenty of local food shops and excellent cafes. The Fold at Bransford offers a regular Sunday market and craft shops to buy that special gift. Great Malvern and Ledbury are small towns which offer independent retailers, Worcester and Cheltenham have all the main high street stores.
