The house has retained many of its period features and is tastefully decorated with the mixture of antique and modern furniture. It is very light and thoughtfully arranged.

The owner is a gourmet cook, so the kitchen has every device and appliance. There is an American style BBQ gas grill in its own outdoor area. There are 3 double bedrooms one of which has twin beds which can also be joined to make a king sized bed. The sitting room also has an 'L' shaped sofabed which can convert into a double bed if needed. There are three bathrooms, one of which is en suite. The upstairs terrace seats 8 and is very sunny.

Parking is available to residents in this part of London. There are parking meters adjacent . We are very close to two underground stations - Knightsbridge and South Kensington to to 9 different bus routes so transport is never a problem. There are also bicycles to hire, known as Boris Bikes named after the Lord Mayor of London. There is a row of these bikes less than a minute from the house.

Perfect location. Comfortable stylish rowhouse

Cannot stress how perfect the location is for a group of adults from the same family all going off their own ways to explore. It allowed us to return for dinner then explore some more. Safe neighborhood with lots of shopping. Had cleaning service in halfway through the week. Kezia who manages the flat does an amazing job of following up if there are questions or issues. She even left milk, bread, OJ in the fridge.

Far From the maddening crowd

We had a most delightful stay at this property. We were exactly where we wanted to be, sanctuary of tranquility yet close enough, very close, to a vibrant part of London. We were met by Kezia, who was very kind to keep waiting for us while we were stuck for almost an hour in a hugh line-up at Heathrow immigration clearance. We liked the house immediately. My grandchildren thought the house was "cool." It was comfortable for six of us. When I asked my family if they'd like to come back and stay here again, their answer was a resounding YES. Thank you for providing my family and myself a great place to stay and make it like was our home. We are taking with us many happy memories of our London stay and experiences.

Excellent house and location

We just finished a wonderful week in London. The home we rented was very charming and worked well for 5 adults. Kezia met us on the first day and helped us get situated. The underground and buses are close so we enjoyed the sightseeing, shopping and restaurants around downtown London. We used the well appointed kitchen for breakfasts and happy hour. There is interesting art and books throughout the house. Definitely wilk come back when we return to London.

Delightful little house in the heart of Knightsbridge

This cozy townhouse had ample room for my husband and I, our nanny and our twin 2-year-olds, and was very clean and comfortable, with all our needs provided for. There's even a piano! And the neighborhood is perfect - right in the heart of Knightsbridge, yet the street and house are amazingly tranquil. Kezia was extremely helpful and welcoming when we arrived, and easy to reach via text with small questions. It's a great place to stay with small children, as they can be tucked into the quiet top bedroom, while the adults are awake on the floors below. We hope to return to this very convenient and pleasant home.

Charming, cozy townhouse in a great location.

I spent a week here with my three kids (12, 8, and 6) and we had a fabulous time. My husband couldn't join us due to a work emergency and I was a bit concerned about going it alone with three kids, but it ended up being wonderful. This townhouse is very homey--not antiseptic like some vacation rentals or a hotel room. Very clean. Quirky layout--many floors with a room or bathroom on each-- but this added to the charm for us and gave us space to relax separately after full days out sightseeing. Comfortable beds, nice bathrooms. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the cookware and utensils. We ate breakfast and dinner at the home daily-- a real lifesaver with kids. There are several grocery stores nearby, as well as lots of shopping and restaurants. And there are two tube stops within a fairly short walk-- Knightsbridge (near Harrods) and South Kensington, which can get you anywhere you'd need to go. A lot walkable nearby--including Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, museums. The neighborhood felt very safe. We walked home after dark several times and never felt uneasy. The owners and their niece were very kind, and helpful with directions, check-in/out. There were even essential groceries--water, bread, milk, waiting for us--which was a very nice touch. Highly recommend this place. I would definitely stay here again.

Georgian Townhouse in Knightsbridge, central London. Moments from Harrods's in one direction and Hyde Park in another. Surrounded by some of London's top restaurants. There is also a local family Pizza Express and lower cost restaurants.

This rare central London house has three double bedrooms and a sitting room with a double sofa bed and three bathrooms. It is in an area known as Knightsbridge Village with period houses from 1800 which have a conservation order on them so that the area keeps its genuine period atmosphere.

For sightseers and shoppers Knightsbridge is the centre of luxury shopping with all the main designers' shops in Sloane Street, 5 minutes walk away as well as Harvey Nichols and Harrods less than 2 minutes from the house. King's Road is a 10 minute walk or five minute bus ride away or if you are looking for more general high street shopping there is Kensington High Street 7 minutes bus ride away or Oxford Street with the famous Selfridge's department store 10 minutes busride ( or a lovely 25 minute walk across the park) in the other direction.

West End theatres, Covent Garden, the Royal Opera House, are a ten minute bus ride away.

The Victoria & Albert Museum, National History Museum and Science Museum are less than 5 minutes walk away and the Royal Academy and Tate art Galleries a short taxi or bus ride from this lovely house.

Buckingham Palace is a 10 minute walk away and another 10 minutes further you will arrive at Trafalgar Square or the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben.

This really is the best part of London to be based for a combination of being central to all the attractions yet with the old London atmosphere.
