When you arrive you will be in a different world. The River Thames runs through the heart of the borough for 21 miles linking Hampton Court Palace, Richmond town centre and Kew Gardens with central London. With beautiful Royal parks and historic houses, theatres, museums and galleries rich with exhibits and town centres bursting with shops and restaurants, Richmond upon Thames rivals anywhere in London.
This is a really nice, sparkling clean, very well-equipped flat. The location was fantastic - close to shops, restaurants and public transportation. It was only a 15 minute walk over the bridge into central Richmond. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was very well-appointed with lots of cooking utensils and dishes, and the bathroom was lovely with plenty of hot water and towels. It was so nice to have a washer/dryer as well. The free Wi-Fi and a selection of DVD movies were nice touches. It was so convenient to have a wireless printer to print out our boarding passes - brilliant idea! The owner was there upon arrival to greet us and was very helpful and informative, and the result was that we had an outstanding vacation. We would most definitely stay here again.
This was an ideal place. Very clean, comfortable, and secure. It is a bit of a hike to the underground, but the walk is lovely. We also found Richmond very charming with good shopping and pubs. The owner was so kind and helpful. We hope to stay here again!
