The house (14 years), ground floor and combined construction in rustic stone, wood, ceramic and with large French doors, has 250 m2, T4 (with 2 suites + 2 bathrooms) common room with wood burning stove, in the area of ​​the bedrooms has a wood-fired iron fireplace and in addition to the central heating in all rooms has air conditioning in the master suite. Next to the common room, it has a glassed porch with panoramic view.

It has very large outdoor living areas and all of them with an exceptional panoramic view of the city and mountains.

The private pool area, has a large lawn and has the ideal setting in the landscape, because it allows to enjoy a fantastic panoramic and complete privacy.

Access is via the A4 motorway (Porto / Marco de Canaveses 40Km) and the journey time is just over 35 minutes.

This is the ideal place to base the city of Porto and some cities to the North, such as Amarante, Vila Real, Guimarães, Braga, Viana do Castelo, etc ... all of them at a distance of 55km and all with access by various motorways.

Beautiful stunning villa

The villa was beautiful. Stunning location and it had everything we could or would need. Very clean and spacious and Alvaro was very helpful and quick to assist in anything we asked. We went as an extended family and all of us said we would return in a heartbeat.Portugal and it's people are beautiful.

Tranquil setting, well situated, warm welcome

The house, gardens, pool, views and amenities were spot-on for our two-day sojourn in the Douro. The owner, Álvaro, was very welcoming and extremely responsive (in fact proactive) when there was an issue with the electricity during a massive rolling storm. We took advantage of the pool, outdoor grill and the splendid patio. If you go to Amarante for the day I recommend taking the old road (N210) on the return to Marco de Canaveses alongside the Támega, GPS will suggest many other routes but this one is worth the extra 5 minutes or so.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the villa was comfortable and well equipped.

A well designed house with a great view in a convenient location. Good base for exploring the Douro, Porto and further afield. Attentive hosting from Sr Velhote. Great plunge pool for cooling down on hot summer days. A lovely place for two families to share. Thank you.

Fantastisch huis.

Uitzicht is fenomenaal. Huis heeft alle luxe die je kan wensen. Het ligt ideaal om de omgeving te verkennen. Ook een aardige buurman die voor ons bij restaurant Tia Fina gereserveerd had. De gastheer is een echte gastheer. Prettig mens en gelukkig voor ons spreekt hij Engels. Een droom vakantie. Dank Álvaro!

Wat een geweldig mooi huis. Alles wat je maar kunt bedenken is aanwezig. Volledige keuken, mooie koele kamers. Alles zeer smaakvol ingericht. Het uitzicht vanuit het huis is werkelijk waanzinnig mooi. Zwembad stukje beneden het huis. Vonden wij wel prettig aangezien we een 4-jarige bij ons hadden die nog niet kon zwemmen. In de omgeving voldoende leuke steden om te bezoeken (porto, amarante, braga,guimaraes). Kortom 1 van de mooiste huizen waar wij ooit in hebben gezeten.

The property (23 700 m2) is inserted in an area of ​​pine forest and agricultural fields and vineyards and has a fabulous view of the Tâmega river, city and mountains.
