This stylishly designed, former historic forge workshop is designed and converted with a nod to its ancient industrial past. Retaining lots of original features of the forge along side copper heating piping winding around the historic beam framework, industrial ducting, and huge original ancient timber work bench/worktop, we embraced this style creating rooms and adding to it to create a this really special 'one-off' industrial holiday accommodation for 4 people maximum.
It includes a full size, slate bed pool table (pool and snooker balls); with industrial silver cloth; which doubles as a large dining table with four industrial stools to dine under antique filament bulbs and industrial lighting.
The dining pool room floor has a creative mix of period tiles blending with the old original hard worked and riven forge floor, keeping the history of the building alive. Through the dining area into the old store room is a fridge to allow you to self cater and store food and drink.
The bathroom features a vanity unit with cupboard, toilet and an elegant roll top, free standing bath on a beautiful period tiled floor, for that stylish luxury, copper accessories complete the look.
It has a small elegant kitchenette with full oven and hob and heavy copper pans, connected open plan with the living room which has a varnished original concrete floor, a stylish Scandinavian furnishing theme to relax in style and watch UK satellite TV.
One double bedroom, with comfortable stylish bed, a wardrobe, and characterful historic wall alcoves with candle lights with the stylish Scandinavian theme continued.
A further bed is in the living area a Scandinavian sofa bed folds down easily to create the secondary bed area for 1-2 people, with the duvet and bedding stored conveniently nearby in an industrial metal chest.
