Stayed here for 4 nights over the new year period with another couple.
It was so cosy & comfortable . Great location for visiting the surrounding places . Also fabulous pub on its doorstep.
Thank you again for our great stay .
We are so pleased that you had a good time. We love the pub too!
We had a lovely relaxing time at this beautiful cottage
The cottage was beautifully decorated and the use of the swimming pool was a great bonus!
A lovely, cosy, well-equipped cottage with the added bonus of a super swimming pool.
We had a lovely stay at your cottage. It was clean, well-equipped, cosy and in a super location. We particularly loved the pool and appreciated all the little touches provided (free internet, lovely home furnishings, towels and dish washer tablets, tea towels etc.). The only reason not to give it the full 5 stars is that the double bed was not quite as comfortable as we might have hoped and the pillows were as flat as pancakes!
A memorable family holiday
My family enjoyed a brilliant and relaxing holiday week in this idyllic rural setting despite poor weather throughout much of our stay .The location is an excellent base for taking country walks , accessing the Atlantic retail Park and travelling to the magnificent Westward Ho resort and beach .
Quaint and quiet
We loved our stay in the cottage, very quiet location, fantastic restaurant right on the door step where we had two great meals in our four night stay.
Set in beautiful country side with the resident farm animals right outside our window every day which was great.
The pool was a very nice and clean.
The only thing I'd say is the double bed was not that comfortable but it would not stop me from booking this fantastic little cottage again.
The beachfront and other facilities are close by and a lovely walk along country lanes and woodlands to get to, although very hilly if you are not that mobile, it is easily reached by car in five minutes with no problem.
Thank you for a great four day break.
We are so pleased that you had a nice time. Thank you for the feedback about the bed, we plan to replace it soon!
Wonderful place and a joy to visit
A great cottage and a great location. Easy walk to local beach. Pub next door, pool on site, BBQ area if you want it and animals to amuse everyone.
Location is great for all of north devon beaches and surrounding area.

Other places of interest are Dartington Crystal, Tapely Park and gardens and Rosemoor R.H.S gardens, all within a few miles and, of course, the wild beauty of Exmoor is easily reached.
The Milky Way and The Big Sheep will fascinate the younger ones.
There are fantastic beaches within easy reach. The beach at Westward Ho is a pleasant walk from the cottage and offers surfing and kite surfing. The famous beach at Woolacombe is about 11 miles away and the beach at Croyde bay famous for surfing is close by as well.
