If you're looking for next winter, the home is beautifully decorated for the holidays throughout December and early January with a lighted/decorated tree, lighted garlands, wreath, etc.

Corporate groups are welcome - with 11 separate beds, we have hosted several.

This spectacular, newly remodeled, ultra-luxe property in the newer "Base Camp on Jane Creek" development encompasses 4,000 square feet and is one of the nicest mountain properties in Colorado. It's a light, bright, warm and cozy "mountain modern" home with two living areas, three master suites plus a fun 6-person bunk room and even an additional queen pullout bed and two portable kid sleeping cushions for maximum flexibility. The developer of Base Camp saved this special parcel for his personal home, as it is by far the largest and most luxurious of all Base Camp units, is the closest to the private ski/hiking trail, and has the secluded and private feel of a stand-alone home in the woods with spectacular forest views; a giant, clean, always-hot private hot tub; an easy-to-use SONOS music system with dedicated IPad and in-ceiling speakers in main rooms and even on the spa patio; and a private yard. For those who want the ultimate in comfort, amenities, and location for their group, this home will exceed your every expectation.

Location, location, location - Base Camp on Jane Creek is the place to be in Winter Park! Walk, ski, or shuttle to the Resort and Village and walk to CocaCola Tubing Park. The free shuttle stops near Breeze Ski Rental, 150 yards away, and drops you right at the base of Winter Park Resort (skiing, great restaurants and apres-ski, even ice skating) every 20 minutes in ski season. In summer, from June 10th through Labor Day (and then weekends only through September - fall colors are amazing in September!), drive or walk 1/4 mile (10 minute walk) to the Resort, which is turned into an Adventure Park with an Alpine Slide, mini golf, human maze, climbing wall, Trestle Bike Park mountain biking with all gear and lessons available, etc. Base Camp is two miles from the Town of Winter Park. Winter Park is just 90 miles from Denver International Airport, with every possible winter or summer activity you could imagine - and getting here is much faster and easier compared to other ski areas (Google "Eisenhower Tunnel nightmare" and "historical closures of Vail Pass"). We are nowhere near those two choke points on Interstate-70.

Ski or play in the beautiful outdoors all day and then come home and enjoy incredible views of National Forest from the 25-foot tall wall of glass in the open living area while listening to your favorite music playing on the included Pandora/Spotify/Slacker IPad throughout the main living areas including at the hot tub/patio. Cook (or not) in the very well-equipped Wolf/SubZero gourmet kitchen loaded with top-quality pots/pans/gadgets/dishware; roast marshmallows for s'mores around the private fire pit; soak in the private, giant, always-hot, crystal clear hot tub; play board games in front of the roaring fire and PlayStation games in the lower living area; shoot some pool or play ping pong; stay connected to the world via our free high-speed WiFi; and sleep soundly in our luxury beds and bedding. This is THE location to make amazing memories with friends and family.

Sleeping arrangements: the top floor has Master Suite #1 with king bed, sitting area, walk-in closet, fireplace, views, and privacy. The private en-suite bathroom has a two-person soaking tub and large shower with two separately controlled shower heads. There is also a loft library/office on this floor with basic office supplies including printer and paper. The next half-level down has Master Suite #2 with king bed, sitting area, small writing desk, and private en-suite bathroom with soaking tub/shower. Just below this you will find Master Bedroom #3 with two double beds and a private en-suite bathroom with shower. There is also a fun bunk room on this level with two sets of twin bunk beds with pull-out trundles (sleeps 6) and a full bathroom with tub/shower right across the hall from the bunk room. There is a queen sofa pull-out sleeper in the lower living area. For maximum flexibility, there are even two portable, kid-sized sleeping cushions for kids under 10 that can be placed in any room. Total of 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, comfortably sleeps up to 14 guests.

Outdoor amenities include private, partially-covered patio with: giant, always-hot, crystal clear hot tub with dozens of jets and LED lighting package; cozy lounge area with gas firepit for s'mores; large stainless steel gas DCS grill; and outdoor in-ceiling speakers connected to the whole-house SONOS audio system. Private one-car heated oversized garage with exterior keypad access (most other places require you to enter through the front door each time and open the garage from inside) plus private 2-car tandem heated driveway (this is the only Base Camp that can legally fit 3 guest cars which is a big deal as overflow parking is far away); direct access from main living area to spa/firepit, yard (only Base Camp with a yard), acres and acres of National Forest, and Mary Jane Creek.

SKI-OUT DETAIL: Walk approximately 80 yards on a maintained, snow-packed hiking trail which is right next to our home. Head up some stairs and you will be on the Corridor ski trail (this is a green/easy run). Click into your skis and ski approximately two minutes directly to the base of Winter Park Resort.

SKI-IN DETAIL: Take Corridor run (some blue/intermediate runs necessary to get to Corridor) to the top of the stairs. Click out of your skis, walk down the stairs, and walk approximately 80 yards on the maintained, snow-packed trail to get directly to our home, which is right next to the private trail.

NOTE: Ski-in-ski-out access is not designed for beginners or very young children - they should take the free shuttle which stops every 20 minutes in ski season at Breeze Ski Rental (150 yard walk, no stairs). We are on the short "green line" route that only services a couple of properties and drops you right at the base of Winter Park Resort - all other shuttle routes wind all around town and require you to haul your gear through the entire Village to get to the skiing/Resort base - guests love our shuttle service!

Indoor amenities: Two-story entry/warming area with fireplace; heated floors throughout entire home; two living areas with wet bars; free secured high-speed WiFi; well-equipped Wolf/Sub-Zero kitchen; luxury beds and linens; plenty of fluffy white towels and thick oversized spa towels; 3 gas fireplaces; full-size washer/dryer; whole house SONOS music system with in-ceiling speakers (easy to use via our dedicated IPad with Pandora/Spotify/Slacker services included); six large flat-screen TVs (one in each bedroom plus both living areas) with two DVD players and assorted DVDs; Playstation 4 in lower living area with PS games; pool table; ping pong; several card/board games for kids, for adults, and to play together. Family friendly (we have kids too) with one PackNPlay-type portable crib, one portable high chair, 2 baby gates, child-friendly dishware, and baby monitor plus two portable, kid-sized sleeping cushions for kids under 10.

WINTER ACTIVITIES:

Skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, ice skating, sledding, dog sledding, multiple tubing parks, fat biking, sleigh rides, snowmobiling, and a large, new indoor "Grand Park" rec center with basketball, gym, climbing wall, and giant pool with slide.

SUMMER ACTIVITIES:

The Resort base is turned into an Adventure Park from June 10 through Labor Day (and then weekends only through September - September is beautiful!) with an Alpine slide, putting course, human maze, climbing wall, and Trestle Bike Park mountain biking (including lessons and rental of all gear). We are within easy walking distance of the Resort (1/4 mile) and the beautiful newer Village with its casual restaurants, couple of shops, and even a day spa for a great massage. Hiking is right out our back door, with acres and acres of National Forest land to explore.

Within the greater Winter Park location, there are three local golf courses within a 20 minute drive with Pole Creek Golf Club being the most notable. There is also summer tubing, mountain biking, road biking, horseback riding, river rafting, fishing, and a large, new indoor "Grand Park" rec center with basketball, gym, climbing wall, and giant pool with slide.

We provide lots of information to booked guests, from restaurant recommendations to where to rent skis, buy discounted lift tickets, and detail on local activities all year 'round.

Be aware that in the low season (May, October, November) there are limited restaurants and attractions open, just like in any ski town in Colorado. If you are looking for a quiet getaway without crowds, that's the time to visit. If you want more action and activities, please visit during any other month when there is plenty to do.

Full concierge services are available for an additional charge including grocery delivery/kitchen stocking, private chef services, ski equipment rental delivery, childcare, and activity planning. Just ask!

Our family recently relocated from California to Boulder and we couldn't be happier with our new hometown. We wanted to purchase a close-in getaway (it's SO much closer than nearly every other ski resort - no Eisenhower Tunnel/Vail Pass nightmare drive) that we could share with our extended family and friends. We are committed to the environment (Boulder is rubbing off on us!) which is why we replaced nearly every light bulb with LEDs and offer full-sized shower amenities instead of those annoying little plastic bottles. It was professionally remodeled from top to bottom in 2016 and is loaded with high-end furniture and fittings as a luxury retreat to use and to share.

What makes this townhome unique

This property has so many special and unique features that it's difficult to choose which to highlight; however, the location is our favorite amenity. The developer who built Base Camp clearly saved the best (this unit) for himself where he lived for several years, which is why it feels so special - one guest called it "magical" - when you're in it.

Beautiful property with fantastic amenities. Shared the house with another family. There were 6 kids and 4 adults and we all had plenty of space. Kids enjoyed the TV room and pool table downstairs while the adults enjoyed the living room up. Used the hot tub daily! Appreciated all of the extra details - the small things that often aren't in rentals.

Luxury Ski Home with all the Special Touches

This is a wonderful home. Beautifully decorated with very high quality furnishings and special touches. Everything from the beds to the linens to the kitchenware were a notch above any other rentals we have stayed in. The layout worked perfectly for two families and five children. The lower level game room was a huge hit and allowed for endless hours of bonding time for our teenagers while they held pool and ping pong tournaments. The hot tub was crystal clear and well maintained. The large open floor plan on the main level allowed us to enjoy dinners together and relaxation time in front of the fire. This is a home you never want to leave.

The only downside really is the ski on ski off access. Ski on means walking along a little trail and then taking a multi level deck of stairs to get to the Corridor run. It's about 5 minutes and takes quite a bit of energy to make the trek. The ski off component is doable for black diamond skiers who can handle tight tree runs. Most of us had to make the reverse trek down the stairs and along the trail. If you manage your expectations on this component, this is the perfect ski house.

Beautiful, clean and convenient location.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. It was clean and comfortable. Some skied right from the house which was very convenient. The layout of the house is conducive for a big group and the furnishings are very pretty and up to date. We enjoyed the hot tub, our ping pong tournament and all the fireplaces. Some in our group walked to the village cabriolet to ride it into the little town at Winter Park where you can shop, eat and ski. The ski rental store is within the Iron Horse complex which is walkable too. We would definitely return!

Incredible home and perfect location!

We had three families (6 adults and 8 kids ages 6 to 16). This was the perfect house for us. There was plenty of space for us to eat together, but each "master" offered exceptional privacy with ensuite bath as well. The ski in ski out was a bit of a trek (150 walking steps and 52 stairs) but still soooooo much better than taking the shuttle!!! You do have to take a long and fairly challenging blue run (Mary Jane) to get back to the home. Easy enough to take a car to the village too.

We will definitely be back!!

Such a great place!

We have skied at Tahoe and Durango the last 4 years, and this home was far and away the nicest we have stayed at. They went above and beyond stocking the house with amenities - everything you could need. The few times we had a question, we got an immediate response. We traveled with three children under 10 and they had a blast - Even though the house is so modern and upgraded - there was still a lot tailored to them. The only downside (And it's a small one) is that the trail to the run is pretty cumbersome for littles. If you are a parent and have to ski with multiple kids, save yourself and take the shuttle to the base - carrying three sets of skis in ski boots up a winding staircase was not an easy task. I wore myself out before I even clipped in! But overall, such a well done house, so many amenities, and so close to everything!
