Bird watchers, golfers, tourists, hill-walkers, cycling and mountain biking, water sport, scuba diving lovers, history lovers – all will find much to enjoy here. In spring it provides a spectacle of colours and shades of breathtaking beauty. Its coastline is still largely pristine and its littoral and marine life remain untouched by the advance of civilisation. Green turtles still nest on its beaches and the occasional Monk Seal is still sighted there.
This was our first stay at a villa of any sort, having been recommended it by a close friend who has stayed on many occasions. I suspect we have been so lucky that other villas will struggle to match Relaxing Villa.
Both the owners and mangers could not have been more helpful. We walked through the door to a splendid welcome pack and beautiful flowers. Relaxing Villa has large comfortable rooms with excellent facilities and a fantastic pool.
We were only 5-10 minutes away from some lovely tavernas and restaurants, many overlooking the sea. Paphos was nearby and many lovely villages were in easy reach.
Many thanks to Sean and Jennifer for a wonderful stay in their home from home. And huge thanks to Elaine for all her help and guidance while we were there. We shall return!
Great Place, good location, would love to stay again. we stayed out of season, weather was very pleasant, daytime like the UK in May, ideal for walking and exploring, Broadband worked fine, Nice garden and pool, house clean tidy and well equipped. Open fireplace/woodburner for winter evenings would be only thing on wish list.
hi Sean and Jennifer sorry I am late with my review but my family and I had a fab holiday it was the best your web site does not do it justice the place was fab my grandson was so impressed that he would not get out of the pool he wanted to sleep there . Me and my family had at totally relaxing time there and I would recommend this villa to all my friends and family and to anybody that reads this it was the best Sean and Jennifer you done your self's proud will book again in the future well done and your manager in Cyprus good job AAAAAA+++++++++++++
Villa very spacious, clean and ready for our arrival, with lovely welcome pack (great as it was late at night when we arrived).
Open plan dining/kitchen. Good sized lounge with comfortable seating.
Twin room downstairs. Son states it was comfortable.
Two doubles upstairs. Although we slept in what we deemed to be the master bedroom, we feel the 2nd bedroom would've suited us better for sitting out and admiring the sea views.
Management company on hand if needed.
Quiet area, although lots of other villas around (so not remote). Suited us well.
The outside space was lovely, but some pads for the chairs outside would be fab!! Instead of sticking to the chairs and having lines down legs when standing up!!
The pool was fabulous. Not at all deep, but very spacious. A lot of our holiday was spent in the pool. Loved it!! And others had left behind some inflatables too.
The things I would change: Definitely larger beds rather than doubles, felt tiny in comparison to ours at home (granted it is a super kingsize!) but although others have said not very comfy, I didn't find that, other than due to size.
The balconies could perhaps do with more comfy furniture and parasols. Villa we stayed in last year had a love comfy sofa, 2 chairs and matching table to allow us to watch the sunset in comfort with a drink in our hand.
Provision of cleaning products would be good. Spray cleaner for kitchen, cloth and sponges, rubbish bags, a few dishwasher and washing tablets and washing up liquid. Although I know these are not cheap, I would be prepared to pay an extra couple of pounds, rather than spend full cost on stuff I would only use for the 10 nights we were there.
I would definitely recommend this villa to family and friends.
Sean and Jennifer provided good customer service and responded well to emails/texts prior to holiday, and the card and flowers were a lovely touch. Thank you for the use of your lovely RELAXING villa
You will love your stay at the Relaxing Villa. It is a large, detached, spacious and beautiful home away from home in the exclusive Sea Caves area, one of best residential areas in the region.
The Villa is set in a peaceful and tranquil area, in a small, quiet development of bespoke upmarket residences and yet is perfectly placed for the nearby attractions of Paphos, Coral Bay, Akamas Peninsular. A few short minutes drive will take you to the bustle and nightlife of Coral Bay and Paphos. The famous historical World Heritage Site of Tomb of the Kings is also in Paphos; the untouched beauty of the Akamas Peninsular is a few miles north, and the unhurried village life that has remained unchanged for centuries surrounds you.
And it's very romantic! From the Villa you have a panoramic vista of the sea and the spectacular sunsets the area is famous for. With a glass of wine, sit and watch the sun glide sink into the sea horizon. In the morning, arise refreshed and watch the sun rise over the hills from our verandas.
The rugged, sandy-coved Sea Caves coastline is much closer to the sea than it seems on Google maps – just 500 metres in fact. There are many local tavernas nearby, with good, local food and wine.
Just a few minutes drive from the Villa you will find the picturesque fishing harbour St George with a beautiful church, and a small sand and shingle beach perfect for snorkelling, scuba diving and sunbathing. Watch the colourful fishing boats returning with their catch for the local restaurants.
The Akamas Peninsula is protected by UNESCO and has miles long deserted sandy beaches, pine trees and stunning scenery. At Lara Bay, known as Turtle Beach, the green turtles come and lay there eggs on the beach. Ask for the Last Castle: enjoy the souvla and Greek salads together with stunning sea views whilst grapes are hanging over your stone tables.
We're easy to get to. Over 30 scheduled airlines fly here. From the UK, Easyjet flies to Paphos airport, and there are many chartered and scheduled flights from all over the UK.
Whether it is a quiet romantic break; activity; away from it all; family; golf; water sport or historic or bird watching/wildlife holiday – you will find all these waiting for you at the Relaxing Villa.
