Situated in the heart of Soller and minutes from the town square, this imposing property is framed by the spectacular Tramuntana mountain range. There is a large private pool, fully equipped Summer Loggia and extensive terraces. Surrounded by citrus orchards this property offers privacy and tranquility teamed with luxury living. The property was fully restored in 2006 offering all modern amenities while retaining the original features and charm. The property is fully secure with electronic gates and an impressive drive leading up to the main house. There is ample parking but for those who choose not to drive the picturesque town of Soller with it's shops restaurants and bars is only 5 minutes walk away. From the town square, guests can also take the antique tram to the Port of Soller and the beach or take the spectacular train journey through the mountains to Palma. The perfect property for those seeking easy accessibility to Soller town and Port while offering luxury accommodation.

The picturesque town of Soller is just 5 minutes walk from the property. Puerto Soller with its small sandy beaches, traditional marina and a choice of restaurants and cafes is a 10 minute drive. The port can also be reached by taking the antique tram which runs from the town square (5 min from the property) to the port. Cala Deia is only a 15 minute drive away and offers a picturesque cove and choice of two restaurants. Deia and the historic town of Valdemossa approximately 20 minutes drive with choice of many restaurants. Palma is 30 minutes drive away. There is also the antique train that runs from Palma to Soller (approximately 6 times per day). The ride which lasts approximately 1 hour with breathtaking views of the Tramuntana mountain range, Fornalutx is an approximate 15 minute walk away and has been voted Spain's most beautiful village.

"Just to say though how much we enjoyed our stay at El Camino del Rio. It is a really beautiful place to stay and I honestly couldn't find anything to fault. I have stayed in a few of the hotels / villas in the Soller area over the past 10 years and this comfortably surpassed any of them. We especially loved the pool area (which is stunningly positioned in the orange groves) and the interior design / furniture / art indoors which made it genuinely difficult to ever leave".

The house is just lovely. Beautifully done up and well-equipped and beautifully clean. All five bedrooms are nice, which is unusual for rented properties and all the bathrooms are modern, clean, well equipped and they all worked! The pool house is wonderful too. Comfy sofas and a TV and small kitchen with BBQ grill, separate loo and shower. Everything you could need for a day by the pool. The kitchen is very well equipped indeed with everything you could possibly need (and I am a keen cook), also a big gas-fired BBQ. Table tennis table, basketball net and lots of outdoor space and total privacy. Nice terrace outside the kitchen for all your meals - we didn't eat inside once during our months stay. Plenty of air conditioning. Wonderful helpful hard-working housekeeper! Really cannot recommend it highly enough!

Fantastic Villa in a great location

This is the best villa we have ever stayed in. It is superbly kitted out and there is nothing you will want for during your stay. The decoration and design of the villa is stunning with lots of living and dining areas. The pool area is where we spent most of our time and with a 2nd kitchen area in the pool building you never had to go far for drinks or food. The views are exceptional and it is located just a short walk from the town centre of Soller. Soller itself is a bustling town with all the shops you need for food and the centre square has great ambience in the evenings with something always going on. There are also several good restaurants.

We really did not want to leave after our 2 weeks. Our family group were aged from 16 to 74 and all had a great time.

Luxury villa with stunning scenario

We have stayed in many villas over the last 7 years and we are all agreed that this is the best villa we have ever stayed in.

The photos do not do justice to the standard of decor, cleanliness and the size of this villa. The summer loggia has a separate kitchen, seating area and shower room. There is a lovely pool area with views of the surrounding mountains.

There is an excellent kitchen which is well equip and opens onto a lovely terrace with the backdrop of the mountains. There is also a large gas fired barbecue on the kitchen terrace.

Beach, bath room and pool towels are all provided as are toiletries, washing detergent and dishwasher tablets.

We did not hire a car as it is only a 5 minute walk to the main square, tram stop to Port de Soller and the train stop to Malta. The main square has many cafes, restaurants and tourist shops and is really a charming town that it family friendly and has none of the noisy night life of the main Spanish tourist resorts. We only required a taxi to transport our shopping for the week from the Eroski supermarket which is a 15 minute walk away which cost us 12 euros.

The only downside to this property is that the last 1/2 mile to the villa could not be accesses by the taxi minibus that we had hired as the roads are only wide enough for standard sized vehicles, however, the housekeepers husband kindly helped us transport our luggage to and from the main pick up point in the main square.

We loved this villa so much that we have already booked for 2014. I would have no problems recommending this villa to anyone.
