About the property

Peaceful, south facing, spacious houses, set in tropical gardens with swimming pool. Magnificent panoramic views from all windows. Ground floor patios front and rear with furniture, plus balcony upstairs from main bedroom. Main bathrooms upstairs and a downstairs cloakroom. Fully fitted kitchen, large lounge and dining area. All furnished to a high standard. Swimming pool is just in front of the house.

Costa de Almeria: The Costa de Almeria has the warmest driest climate in Spain with more than 320 sunny days each year (more than 3000 hours). This is probably one of the last areas of unspoiled coastline along the Spanish Mediterranean, and is likely to remain so as parts of the area are designated as a National Park. Building development, although fairly extensive over the last 20 years is strictly controlled and confined to low-rise, low-density building within village boundaries.

Terms and conditions: Special rates are available for stays of one month or more during January, February, March, November & December 2012. Please contact us for further details. Please check for rates for Christmas & New Year. Due to problems in the past we cannot accept bookings from groups of young people without adult supervision. No hen or stag groups accepted.

We require a 15% deposit to secure your booking. The balance payment is due 8 weeks before your arrival date.

Flights: There are regualar flights from Gatwick, Birmingham and Manchester to Almeria with most flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

The journey time from Almeria to Mojacar is approx one hour.

There are far more flights from all major UK airports to Alicante or Murcia but the journey time to Mojacar is 2 hours.(one and a half hours from Murcia with the new toll road)

Stunning location

Have been to number 18 & 19 Lomos Blancos numerous times and would recommend to anybody wishing to experience a beautiful setting, quiet and peaceful surroundings, sea and mountain views and well equipped and high quality furnishings. Although a car is ideal you are close enough to walk to all amenities. welcome pack a nice touch, very unusual to get these days.

Ideal for families with young children

We stayed here with our 5yr old & 3yr old. The house was very spacious & ideal for us but the open staircase may not be suitable for children crawling/just walking unless you have eyes in the back of your head! The pool & gardens were beautiful with lots of space to run around and very quiet even in school holidays. There were stunning views from the house & the restaurants, shops & beach were less than 5 min walk down a slight hill. There was a great beach for young kids a 5 min drive away as well as loads more restaurants, play parks etc. You could easily walk it but with young kids it was easier to drive (plenty of parking at beach & restaurants). The location, views & local amenities made this an ideal place to stay especially as you don't need to use the car unless you want to. We had a great time & I'm sure we will return.

Ideal base in Mojacar

We stayed at number 19, with our friends next door and had the best holiday. We had our teenage children with us who also had a brilliant time. The houses are spacious and well equiped, the gardens a tranquil oasis with great sea views and the large pool was never buisy. Even in August we often had it to ourselves. The beach front with its abundance of bars, resaurants and shops is just a few minuites walk away, making this an ideal location to be based in Mojacar Playa.

Mojacar is 1 hour drive from Almeria airport, 1 and 1/2 hours from Mucia and 2 hours from Alicante. The beautiful beach stretches for 15kms with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. The houses are set just off the playa and slightly raised which gives you the stunning views.
