Situated on the banks of the River Dulas and overlooking Dovey Forest, this old slate quarrying village is perfect for mountain biking enthusiasts. The village boasts a village pub and is directly opposite the well-known mountain biking Cli-machX run, as well as the famous Coed-y-Brenin Mountain Bike Centre being nearby. Discover The Tarrens, probably the best ridge walk in Wales as well as the mountains of Cader Idris and Aran Fawddwy which are both close by. Enjoy a good day out on the Tal-y-Llyn Railway and at the delightful harbour village of Aberdovey.

Lovely cottage in a great location.

The cottage was immaculate and perfect for our stay, especially the log burner. The location is peaceful with walks in every direction. Main tourist towns are only a short drive away.

Characterful cottage. Excellent condition both internally and externally Had everything we needed

Beautifully restored cottage with original features preserved but enhanced with the modern features required for a comfortable stay, ie good heating system and plenty of hot water and a good shower. Kitchen very well equipped and an excellent assortment of books for rainy days or if you just want to sit , read and take the n the view. Good pub serving food within easy walking distance plus cafe with small shop. Also surprisingly good bus service for a small village
