The apartment is air conditioned and heated. Maid service included and free wi-fi acess. Communal spacious patio area with shared swimming pool. Underground communal garage with electric up and over door.

One bed roomed apartment, perfect for two. Clean and tidy, lovely pool area. Short walk from the beach and promenade. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Long sandy beach, with boat rides if wanted. Lovely quiet resort for families and couples. Will definitely go back and this apartment was a great base.

This is a real gem. We stayed in unit A, the top left in the photo. We had a partial view of the ocean. The pool is natural - no heat - so sunny days are best. We never saw the lady in the photo or the juice but the housekeeper Lucia was the best part of this place. Lucia is so helpful if you need anything. Laundry is on-site. The beach is a five minute walk away and the town of Luz is the nicest place we found in Portugal. This apartment is no more than 10 minutes away from the heart of Luz. The apartment was clean, had AC and met our needs completely. The top units are A, B and C and the lower units D, E and F. The top units obviously have the best view. We plan to go back and would try to get B next time as it is just a little further from the road although there are less than 5 cars a day on the road.
The only warning I would offer is to get there in the daylight as it is a mess of tiny village roads to reach the property. Watch for the sign on the wall "Beach Park Apartments." There is no address that we could figure out. There was a lock box that contained our keys but the manager forgot to put our apartment number on the keys so we were stuck until we reached her by phone. So make sure to ask the apartment number and keep Paula, the owner's phone number with you in case it happens again. This was a very minor issue and was resolved in 10 minutes. Everything else was perfect.
Overall a positive experience spoiled by a couple of niggles.
PLUS POINTS - excellent location, near beach and amenities. Relatively new development with good standard of build and apartment reasonably well equipped.
MINUS POINTS - poor administration. We arrived expecting to be met as arranged. No-one there. We were let in by other guests. The keys were for another apartment. The change of arrangements were in an email sent as we arrived so we had no means of knowing of the change - poor communication.
Once in - ice box in fridge had not been cleared so ice had built up to prevent the door closing and damaging the hinge and seal. The microwave had been damaged, the light in lounge was not working. the 12" tv was a joke. No cleaning took place during our stay, we had to provide our own toilet rolls, washing up liquid and bin bags. The towels were changed on day 3 only after our request. The pool was in a poor state of health for the first 2 days but cleaned on the third.
These were relatively minor grumbles - so easily fixed but reflected a standard of neglect which I found regrettable. Better value elsewhere in this excellent resort
Es liegt etwas versteckt und ist nicht ganz einfach zu erreichen. Wir hatten/haben Apartment B im ersten Stock in der Mitte mit schönem Ausblick. LAGE: 5 Minuten zum Strand bzw. zu den Restaurants, 10 Minuten zum nächsten Supermarkt, ruhig, da nicht direkt an der Promenade gelegen. APARTMENT: zwei schöne große Räume (Wohnküche, Schlafzimmer - beide mit einem Balkon verbunden), großes Bad, hell, in einer kleinen Anlage mit nettem Pool und Außenbereich. Anlage ist mit einer Mauer umgeben und nur mit Schlüssel zu betreten, kleiner Parkplatz außerhalb. AUSSTATTUNG: Und hier kommt der Punkt Abzug ... in der obigen Beschreibung war zu lesen, dass das Apartment über Backofen, Waschmaschine, Geschirrspüler, Fön und DVD-Player (ich wollte Sport über mitgebrachre DVDs machen) verfügt ... für mich wichtige Auswahlkriterien, da ich entsprechend dann auch gepackt habe ... alles, was ich aufzählte, war nicht vorhanden. Und so war ich erst einmal etwas angesäuert bei der Ankunft. Von der Hausperle Theresa bekam ich jedoch am nächsten Morgen zumindest den Fön und die freundliche Mitteilung, dass sie für uns waschen könnte und auch die Handtücher wechselt....toll! In der Laundry steht ein Getränkeautomat, der jedoch nicht funktioniert (oh, nach fünf Stunden Autofahrt hatten wir uns auf ein kaltes Bier gefreut).
Summa summarum: empfehlenswert, da ruhig und hell und freundlich und sauber ... und wenn jetzt vom Verfasser die Ausstattungsmerkmale verbessert werden, könnte man sagen super (obwohl wir dann wohl nicht gebucht hätten).
