Fine, detached, stone faced cottage in traditional style perched on an elevated site and enjoying southerly outlook of rolling countryside. Located in a quiet, secluded area yet only 1/4 mile from the centre of the picturesque fishing village of Glandore. A large outside decking area to the front of the house allows guests to take in the beautiful West Cork countryside and scenery. The grounds are well landscaped with lawns, mature trees, shrubs, hedging and flowering plants in abundance. Glandore is a safe, sheltered harbour village with an easy going cosmopolitan atmosphere. There is a pier, sandy beaches, pubs and restaurants both in Glandore village and the neighbouring village of Union Hall. Sea angling, sailing, water-sports, boat and deep sea fishing trips, 9 and 18-hole golf courses, pitch and putt, cycling routes and horse riding are all available in the area.
Interior: The interior is furnished to a high standard with spacious open plan kitchen/sitting/dining room with fully fitted and equipped kitchen (electric hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer). Relax in front of an open fire with a book, take time out in the conservatory or swing open the French doors to absorb the fresh sea air out on the veranda. There is also a fully fitted utility room with washing machine and dryer as well as separate downstairs W.C. There is oil fired central heating and a television.. There are four very large spacious bedrooms, two upstairs and two downstairs. All bedrooms (with the exception of one of the downstairs) have king size beds, large en suite bathrooms with jacuzzi/slipper baths, separate showers and W.C. The other downstairs bedroom has a double bed and one of the rooms upstairs has both a king and a double bed. All bedrooms are tastefully decorated. Luxury linen, pillows, duvets and fluffy towels are all provided. No smoking. One pet only.
