The property is a timeshare,I thought we were renting from a private owner. They had you go to bargain world first to get a check in voucher,no one was there. One very rude phone call and 30 minutes later we had a voucher in our hands. The property is pretty but checkin through this is a nightmare. Do yourself a favor book elsewhere!!!!
Owner didn't disclose extra charges by the place we stayed. I contacted the owner and Homeaway/VRBO and seems like they can't do anything. I'm never booking with them ever again.
Good value, dated rooms
The room we had was large and the property beautiful. The condo itself was super dated (like 1970’s)
Check in was a nightmare! No working air conditioning on last night:-(
The check in was terrible. It took almost an hour and a half to check in. The check in time was supposed to be 4:00; however, I was initially told at 8:00 pm that there were no units available. I was eventually given a larger unit after speaking with a manager. The unit was clean and maintained, but the air conditioning did not work on the last night. They were unable to repair it and we ended our vacation very uncomfortable!
Good for our needs
There were a lot of pros about this property as well as cons.
Pros - large 3 br unit with plenty of space for family of 5. It was nice to have lots of space after coming home from Disney parks all day. The property was also very close to the Disney parks. It averaged between a 10 to 15 minute drive. Lots of amenities on a huge resort - like complex. Parking was plentiful and right outside unit.
Cons - Check in process was annoying and inconvenient. The management company has an office set up in a souvenir shop where you need to go to “check in“. Basically this is where someone tries to sell you a timeshare unit and other things like tickets, tours, etc. From there you get your voucher that you need to take the resort where you go and actually check in.
The unit itself was somewhat dated but nice overall. However there were several kitchen essentials that were not supplied which made preparing breakfast somewhere difficult. Toaster was broken, no baking pan, lack of frying pan, etc.
Overall, the property served the purpose for trip but we would not likely stay here again.
Over all a pretty good experience
We just got home yesterday from staying here for 2 nights. Upon arrival I was less then impressed with check in. It took much longer then needed. Our room on the other hand I was super impressed with when we first got there! VERY spacious for the 4 adults and 3 children we had along. The over view of our room stated one king and two queen size beds. The "gueen size" beds were not queen but instead Full size which stunk but we made the best of it. They were comfy! The first night was great it was nice and quiet. The second night we got back from spending the day at Disney around 10:30/11pm to the people above us blaring their music and stomping around. The light above the master bathroom had water pouring out of it like a faucet at 11pm. One of the 14 pools was right out our back slider which our girls loved! The pool was nice and warm! There was a nice new looking washer and dryer and the dishes were clean. I would recommend crossing the street to walmart for any groceroes you may need and NOT go to the little "market" on site. I ran up there for some breakfast items and I guess I should have looked at the packages closer but i bought bagels and upon opening the package found they were moldy so I looked at the date and they expired in January!! I looked at the other items i had purchased and the bread was a week past it sell by date! YUCK! Took us anout 10-15mins to get to Disney. Jake was great to work with and all things considered it was still a great stay! We will book again next time we come to Disney!
