Mini castle
This has got to be the best cottage we have stayed in, either at home or abroad. Excellent location, quiet but still within walking distance of shops, pub etc. The welcome pack was the best ever, milk, cheese, bacon, orange juice, butter, red and white wine, bread and a basket full of groceries to make a very nice pasta based meal. The cottage was warm and cosy, unlimited logs for the fire, exceptionally clean and tidy. The en-suites and downstairs bathroom came supplied with flannels, soaps and shampoo. A very nice touch was the decanter of sherry in the living room. Excellent communications from Crabtree & Crabtree meant a wonderful, trouble free holiday. We shall definitely be back.

Borders Hideaway
Superb cottage in a wonderful location with river and countryside views from every window. Very quiet location yet all local amenities within easy reach. The Cottage had everything you could want and the Welcome pack was the best we have ever had and we have stayed in many cottages throughout the UK and abroad. Altogether, a wonderful base for a tranquil holiday.
