The name Morwood House came about because there are approximately 27 different varieties of wood throughout the home, most of them in the game room. Here, the floor is made from local Hickory with Black Walnut inlay. The ceiling is of white washed Maple, also patterned with Walnut and the walls are made from slabs of Dogwood, Catalpa, Sweet Gum, Black Locust, Mimosa, Persimmon, Osage Orange, Cypress and more, with Walnut inlay between each slab. This 2,400 sq. ft. home is very special and unique and has a warm, comfortable, cozy atmosphere.
