This apartment is a very comfortable well-appointed place that served as the perfect accommodation for the three of us (there is a master bedroom, study with a queen bed, and a pull out couch in the living room, and one bathroom) ... the highlight is no doubt the view of the Acropolis from the living room and balcony -- truly a magnificent sight to gaze upon each time one passes to and fro .... the apartment has all that one would want in terms of furnishings and kitchen, and (thankfully as it was very hot while we were Athens!) air conditioning throughout ... the neighborhood is nice with a supermarket, bakery, etc all within four blocks ... the historic area is a long walk (about 40-45 minutes), so we tended to take uber everywhere (about 4 euro to the acropolis) to allow us to have more time to sightsee ... the person who helps you get in and out (Helena) is extremely nice and helpful ... overall, an excellent stay!
The area is Plato Academy, the place that Platon created the famous Platonic Academy, the first university in human history. This area is now a huge archaeological park about 200000sqm with several antiquities and plants from ancient Greek flora.
