Lovely homely cottage in beautiful area

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at Hugglepit. Angela was very helpful prior to our arrival and Denise was equally as helpful during our stay - bringing eggs from her chickens and thoughtfully sending a balloon and card for my Dad's 70th. The area is beautiful with lots of nice pubs, walks, coastline etc. The cottage is very well equipped and a practically layout with 2 sitting areas each with a log burner so it's very good for entertaining. As a party of 6 adults and 1 baby, the house didn't feel cramped at all and it's full of character and charm. We would love to return. Many thanks!

Wonderfully historic cottage

  • 5 of 5

Both Owners and Angela were extremely welcoming and very kind. The cottage and surrounding area is steeped in history and Extremely comfortable. The decor is lovely and the amenities plenty.

We had an amazing holiday and the children enjoyed meeting the chicks, ducks and hens, as well as, other wild life.

If you don't mind a drive then you can also use this as a base for venturing a little further down - which we did. We took full advantage of our location by visiting Clovelly, Hartland Point, Tintagel, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan - all of which provide picturesque photos if you enjoy using a camera, or just visiting for the sites. There was plenty to see and do and would recommend the cottage to all. I just wish we had a little longer.

Thank you for a wonderful stay x

Lovely

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Hugglepit in May and had a wonderful stay. Angela and the owner Denise are extremely nice and responsive. There were starter items and the owner dropped off fresh farm eggs a couple of times during our stay. The house is picturesque with a gorgeous garden and views over rolling farmland to the sea. The house is very well maintained with really nice rooms and bathrooms that are all very comfortable.

I would definitely recommend it and I want to go back.

Thank you!

Bronwen
