Where Mid-Century Modern Meets The Mountain

Wow! Sometimes you come across great properties that you want to visit again before you even leave- this is one of them. From the moment we walked in until the end of our stay, we were wow’d by the beauty and space of this home. I’d like to highlight four topics in my review; Bathrooms, Basics, Space, and Location.

The bathrooms: Trying to get 7 guys out of the house is a feat in itself. Without enough bathrooms there is no way we will be on time for dinner. However, with each bedroom having its own en-suite bathroom, everyone had a bit more privacy and convenience to get ready. ***The master bathroom and closet is a dream***

Basics: I have stayed in plenty of vacation properties. There are two things each property is missing- good kitchen wear and hangers. The first thing I did was check out the cabinets in the kitchen to see what kitchen wear I needed to purchase and how many hangers were in each closet. This house had everything in the kitchen to cook and bake, as well ample hangers for every shirt we needed to hang up. Traveling with 7 guys, you can imagine the number of shirts.

Space: Let’s start with the sunken living room, I believe I counted four separate sitting areas. All which were used at some point during the week. Each bedroom had a sitting area to relax if you wanted some downtime while the kitchen and island made it easy to entertain while cooking meals or preparing drinks. Last but not least the pool deck- STUNNING! Great sun, loungers, hardscape and softscape, as well plenty of shade for those wanting a break from the desert sun.

Location: Perfect located next to a hiking trail and downtown we did not use the rental car. We rented a car for the week, but this home is so perfectly located, we walked everywhere or took a short ride share to town. ***You may not need a rental car***
