The Fortis House with a heated Swimming Pool and Hot Tub Jacuzzi has been refurbished in January 2023, with all new kitchen and accessories, new carpets and flooring, dining facilities for 24 guests, a pool table and a football table...This really is a fantastic venue for your family holidays or a party weekend with friends, where you can really relax as there are no pesky neighbours !

Close to the centre of Bournemouth, you travel down a country road to arrive at the gates and into the huge sweeping driveway. The property is very private in two acres of land with beautiful views from every window. The building is countryside classic with modern accessories.

In addition to the heated swimming pool and the brand new six-seater hot tub Jacuzzi with blue-tooth wireless speakers, underwater lighting and 58 massage jets, there is also an American pool table and a Striker football table. The party games extend to the poolside, with a Texas barbecue, a giant Connect-4 game and a full-size basketball net and ball. There is a 55" TV with a full Sky package in the lounge with Sky Cinema and Sky Sports. There is also superfast broadband and free WiFi.

The property flows around the ground floor with patio doors out to the pool and hot tub. The sun lounge offers quality dining for 28 guests and the long practical kitchen, which also has patio doors into the garden, is ready for large group catering, including a giant fridge, a freezer, two microwaves, two kettles and plenty of accessories.

The winding staircase leads to a gallery landing and the 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, all offering a mix of single beds, double beds and bunks beds for the kids or adults. Every room has quality fixtures, fittings, oak doors and picture rails and traditional leaded windows that open out to the beautiful views. There is a very warm and cosy feel to Fortis House and there is also plenty of wardrobe space and storage facilities.

The outside space is well stocked with poolside furniture, sun loungers, giant umbrellas, games to play and a barbecue area with party picnic benches for an outdoor feast.

Stag Party In September

The Property was perfect for a stag party. Close to Go -karting and with no neighbours to worry about noise. The pool , pool table, Table football, Jacuzzi, garden and general space was ideal, check in and check out easy. Importantly the Kitchen had 2 Fridge Freezers and pans big enough for large cooking. Top weekend

Family and friends get together

Over all the accommodation was ok. Unfortunately we had to start by emptying the dishwasher. A little bit of a spring clean needed, looked a bit unused as cobwebs every where. Nice to have a swimming pool however not well maintained lots of leaves at the bottom. Garden a bit on the wild side. Great to have a pool table and hot tub. Dining area was a really good size for our group meals. Comfy beds. Maybe a problem with drainage as showers were a bit slow with water going down plug hole. Nice new carpets in some of the rooms. Overall a good base for a weekend.

Lovely stay for big groups in the summer

Had a lovely time at this place, lots of room for everyone to socialise in different areas of the property. Kitchen was a decent size but could have done with another oven and more tea towels. Bedrooms were comfortable sizes but could have had more mirrors/storage/floor space in a few of them. Loved the garden space with pool/hot tub/benches etc. Location of the property was a little bit random but local amenities were within a 10 minute drive, but was also nice to not be within close proximity to any other houses with regards to noise etc. Would recommend for big groups of friends looking for some time away :)

Hen Do Holiday

We had a great stay at this property. The hot tub, pool and garden were amazing and perfect for the beautiful weather we had during our stay. The dining area was spacious, only down side was there were not enough chairs for our whole group to sit down at the same time. The property felt spacious and the bunk beds were fun.

Great property

Great property if you're looking to have a party weekend with mates without annoying any neighbours, located in the middle of nowhere and only 25 minute taxi ride into town. The showers could be better but overall good trip - thanks
