About the property

This is a newly renovated, Dingle town centre, 1 bedroom apartment, with gated private car parking.

The bedroom contains a double bed, lockers, full wardrobe, dressing table, window shutters and usb bedside sockets. Bedlinens are supplied. The bedroom is ensuite with sink, wc and shower. Towels are supplied.

The full kitchen contains a cooker, hob unit, microwave, sink, kettle, cutlery, ware, cooking pots, storage presses, table and chairs. Beside the kitchen is a utility room containing a washing machine, dryer, sink, ironing board and iron. The kitchen opens out onto the garden.

The comfortable hall/seating area contains hall locker and chairs and the electricity coin meter as electricity is charged for separately.

There is heating available throughout the apartment for winter months.

The apartment is situated on Dykegate Street right in the centre of Dingle town.

Dingle has so much to offer visitors. It is a beautiful harbour town with pier, marina, aquarium, children's playground, cinema and library. There are harbour boat tours and boat tours to see the world famous resident dolphin, Fungie available. Beside the pier is the local Tourist office.

Dingle has many restaurants, pubs and craft shops. Both Dingle town and Peninsula are renowned for the places of interest and the beautiful scenery. We have popular beaches to visit. Walking trails, historical and archaeological tours are available. This is a popular area for families to visit.

If arriving to this apartment from Tralee or Killarney on the lower road you come to the 2nd roundabout and take the 3rd exit. Then take the 1st left turn and the next right turn and you are on Dykegate Street. Continue on over the street and you will see the red house on the left just after Benners Hotel carpark entrance.

If arriving from Tralee via the Connor Pass then come to the crossroad where you will see the Droichead Pub on the right and veer slightly left and then over the bridge and go down the wide street and take the first turn right and the next turn right and you are on Dykegate Street. Continue on over the street and you will see the red house on the left just after the entrance to Benners carpark.

There is a keypad on the gate and the code for the keypad is supplied prior to your arrival.

Location is perfect!

This little ground floor flat is a block off Main so very close to pubs, shops, and restaurants, but extremely quiet as it is on a mostly residential street. Property is immaculately clean and the host Carole was so helpful when I arrived. There is a second upstairs flat through a separate entrance. I would definitely stay here again should I return to Dingle. Huge plus is gated off-street parking. Thank you, Carole!

Good location

Must admit the property was smaller than expected but for a couple of days it was fine. There’s only the kitchen to sit in, no living room and no TV, so if staying for a week or so it wouldn’t have been suitable for us. However, the property was very clean and well equipped in a central location close to restaurants and bars, but saying this it was also quiet at night so slept well.

‘Basic’ appartement in centrum Dingle

Wij zaten 2 nachten in het appartement beneden, dat nieuw en net opgeleverd oogt. Keurig geschilderd maar weinig gezellig ingericht. Zoals zichtbaar op de foto’s is er geen woonkamer. Zitten kan aan de keukentafel. Er is geen tv of wifi. Het huisje ligt ideaal aan een zijstraat van een van de rustiger hoofdstraten, binnen een minuut sta je in het centrum van Dingle. Een bonus is de eigen afgesloten parkeergelegenheid in de tuin naast het huis. Het huis is wel gehorig, je hoort de voetstappen en stemmen van de huurders van het bovenappartement. Ook is het ‘s avonds soms even wat onrustig door voorbijgangers op straat (slaapkamer ligt aan de straatzijde). Het huis is spaarzaam ingericht, er is wel van alles aanwezig maar weinig stuks van bijvoorbeeld bestek, servies, mokken en pannen. Al met al een praktische uitvalsbasis voor een kort verblijf.
