Cabin in the woods
Nice little cabin in the woods, stream running through the property, lots of places to walk. Beautiful fall colors. Really enjoyed the solitude.
Thanks so much for coming to the cabin
Very clean/Dogs barking/nice stream but not easy to get to
Very clean Cabin. However still under construction with wires and wall plates not over some receptacles. Dogs across street barks ALOT! Getting to stream was a bit of challenge if grass was wet, no stair case or gravel walk way. Decorated great!! Nice deck!! Parking on top of road to walk down was a lil more than I read but it was in description. Over all not the worst place Ive stayed .
Thanks so much to all who come to the cabin.
Home away from home
We booked our stay at the last minute because we were evacuating from hurricane Dorian. The owners were fantastic at getting us in quickly and even suggested places to see while we were there. It is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of a normal tourist town. We had a great impromptu vacation!
The owners were wonderful and very helpful. The cabin location was so quiet and peaceful.
We had a wonderful vacation thanks to the Yearty's and can't wait to go back
Thanks so much for coming to the cabin, we love it when people enjoy their stay. We look forward to the Turners coming again, maybe a snow trip? Thanks again Bill n Bonnie
A Cozy, Rustic Cabin and Setting
We had a great time relaxing at the Yearty's cabin! It was a good place from which to make day trips to the antique shops and sights in the area. We enjoyed sitting on the open back porch/deck that overlooks the area below with its three streams that converge at the back of the property. Although it is a steep walk to and from that part of the property, the fire ring and log benches and picnic table located there are nice and enjoyable, as is watching and hearing the cows in the pasture beyond the creek. It's also a bit of a steep, but short, walk from the parking area down to the cabin, but we had no problems going back and forth. Bill and Bonnie were very attentive and responsive to any questions we had. We definitely would go back there again!! Would love to be there in the fall when the leaves change, or in the winter when we would enjoy sittign by the fire in the wood heater.
We love to here our guests had a good time .They were excellent, left the cabin nice, and we d love for them to come back anytime. They left us thank you gifts, including a WONDERFUL piece of their artwork. A framed color illustration of the view out of the cabin through the double doors. Quite the artist! Thank you so much , Bill n Bonnie Yearty
Just what we needed
This property is just what we wanted and just as described. The kitchen storage is small but had everything we could have needed. Mr. Yearty made the check in and check out process easy for us. He had more than just the basic supplies for us including laundry detergent since there was a washer and dryer in the cabin. The only aspect that might be a deterrent for some is that there are only two window unit air conditioners to cool the entire cabin. We lucked out and went during a cool streak. The cabin stayed plenty cool for us. If we are ever in Hiawassee again we would love to rent this cabin.
Thanks so much .We love it when our guests enjoy their stay, and hope the Rebmans can come back to the Cabin sometime in the future. Thanks again, Bill n Bonnie
