Our Emerald Isle Penthouse unit is a Platinum level unit - every amenity required for this level is provided in our unit...and more. We are committed to ensuring that you have fresh sheets that exceed your expectations, towels that are soft and feel like new, and a clean condo that is decorated so that you feel like you are in a beach oasis.
This Emerald Isle true penthouse unit is on the west end to ensure the best view of a Panama City Beach sunset. Look to your left and see the pier park pier and in the distance, the first pier where all of the fireworks go off on weekends and holidays. You are front and center when folks are shooting fireworks on the beach, sometimes feeling like you can reach out and touch them. We have spacious rounded balconies making it easier to get a larger view of the beautiful emerald waters.
All new appliances were installed for the 2012 season, including convection oven, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator, as well as front load washer and dryer to make your clean up chores faster and easier for your family.
This unit comes with designated parking space on the 3rd floor inside the building! Parking pass is not included. No need to walk across Front Beach Road to get to the elevators! Beach chairs are included this year (2016), so no need to spend extra money for front row chairs on the beach. We have over 300 feet of private beach, with Security and Emerald Isle staff are onsite and on duty 24/7. All rules are enforced so that everyone's stay is safe and enjoyable!
Emerald Isle has continued to improve our building's amenities by adding new and expanded entries from the parking garage into the elevators, not only ensuring that you are in air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter, but also that you have plenty of room to load and unload your surf boards, umbrellas, and groceries easily and with plenty of room.
We added 4 new grills downstairs, along with dozens of new chaise lounges around the pool in our expanded patio areas.
Pier Park is 1.8 miles east, where you can enjoy shopping, dining, and rides and activities for the children. Walmart is no longer a 5 mile trek down to the east side of town, it is right at Pier Park! Now we have an amusement park for the children located right off Front Beach Road and right down the street from the main Pier Park entrances called the Miracle Strip. We've spent untold hours with our grandchildren riding rides, getting their face painted and bouncing on anything that will stand still.
Across the street is famous Mike's Diner and Oyster Barwher you can get a great breakfast in the morning, or seafood in the afternoon and evening. Winn Dixie is 1 mile to the east, or enjoy local shopping at Carousel just a few miles west - a local favorite!
There are too many activities to list, but pamphlets are available on the property so you can find just the right one to fit your family's interests.

This is the second property we rented from Helen Phillips. Once again, everything was wonderful. We stayed in #2308. Although only two of us are traveling, we like staying in places that have two bedrooms and two bathrooms. (One of the reasons we think our marriage is so successful is that we have our own bathrooms at home.) Both bedrooms have king size beds that are nice and firm.
Helen's unit is large and spacious and feels luxurious. It is on the 23rd floor and, when seated on the lovely balcony, you feel as though you are in the clouds. There are 3 lounge chairs, a swivel chair and a table with 4 comfy chairs. It is such a nice, relaxing place to hang out as the surf "plays" in the background. I am writing my review from this location and I'm beyond sad that I have to leave and go back to the real world. Wi-fi, btw, worked great.
We arrived early and Helen was able to let us in before the 4pm time. I was so happy to meet her. You can tell that she takes great pride in her units and that she wants her guests to have a delightful vacation.
Emerald Isle is right across from Mike's. We like going there for breakfast so my husband can enjoy their S.O.S. He had it twice on this visit (and we were only here 3 days).
Pier Park is not far away. We love to go to the movies there. For people who like to shop, there are tons of stores. There are lots of places to eat too. We make sure we get to Kilwins for ice cream at least once a visit.
Our other favorite places to dine are about 20-30 minutes away, depending upon traffic. We always go to Captain Anderson's and Triple J's for dinner and Fatty Patty's for breakfast.
Although we have to drive a bit to get to our favorite restaurants, we like to stay at this end (west) of the beach. It is close to Hwy 79 which takes us right to the airport. Although we avoid P.C. in Summer and during Spring Break, it seems to be less congested with traffic.
Everything was perfect for this visit - except my judgement. I should have made the visit longer.
The condo had everything we needed for a short stay in PBC. Comfortable and very clean.
The condo was very clean, tastefully decorated, and you can't beat the view. The beds are a little firmer than I like, but that is a personal preference thing. If you like a firm mattress you will love it. My wife and I had a great time and would certainly go back again!

I stayed here this past weekend with my husband and another couple. The location of the property, and the penthouse condo was amazing! We had 2 front row beach chairs with an umbrella that came with the unit, and rented a second set. Looking out over the ocean from the 23rd floor was relaxing and peaceful. We utilized the pool, which was nice. The kitchen had every appliance and piece of cookware we needed for making breakfast and quick lunches. We never had trouble finding parking on the ground or second floors. The bedrooms both had king sized beds and each had its own bathroom, which worked out nicely. Helen was very easy to deal with, and she responded promptly to the one minor issue we had (balcony door sticking). We can't wait to return here!
Parking for this unit is inside the building on the 3rd floor, so there's no need to park across the street to get to the elevators! We have 2 large gulf front pools (one is indoor/outdoor) with lots of seating provided, as well as 300 feet of beachfront on the Gulf of Mexico. We have hot tubs and gas BBQ grills available for use on the pool deck.
