SEMI-SOUNDFRONT Salvo - Turtle Ct. Experience peace from the decks of SERENITY COVE while watching the sun sink into the Pamlico Sound. The water views from this home are exquisite as the lot across the quiet cul de sac is undeveloped. Enjoy community sound access and stow your watersports gear in the under-house storage. If you prefer to stay close to home, relax at the private pool with poolside Tiki bar, picnic table, and bubbly hot tub. Prepare a poolside lunch in the first level game room/wet bar equipped with a refrigerator and microwave. The game room also has a pool table, large flat screen TV and DVD. The lawn is sufficiently spacious (nearly 1/2 acre lot) to toss a baseball or frisbee, kick a soccer ball, and sort out kite lines and gear. Nearby on the first level is a pyramid bunk bedroom and a full bath. The second level is where you'll find four comfy bedrooms -- a queen master with full bath and separate shower; a queen master with full bath; and two bedrooms (1 double, 1 pyramid bunk) sharing a Jack and Jill bathroom with shower. The king master bedroom is on the top level featuring a flat screen TV, luxurious garden tub and separate shower. Four out of the six bedrooms provide beautiful sound views with sliding glass doors opening to the second and third level decks. Enjoy morning coffee and sunset view dinners in the top level's great room with wall to wall windows. (Fireplace pictured is not for guest use.) Spend your time in the breakfast nook with coffee/wet bar or catch a movie in front of the 55" HDTV home theater system with BOSE stereo surround sound. Come for a visit and escape from it all at SERENITY COVE.

Dogs are welcome for a fee of $200/dog/week.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the $200 weekly fee will apply for each dog and will be added once your reservation is finalized.

Windy resort

We enjoyed our vacation but the house needs a lot of love. Floors, walls, bedding and don’t forget the stove!! All the above needs cleaned and a face lift. Stickers do not help when you are cooking. Don’t know what burner is which. Fridge/freezer started going by the time we left and wooden stairs outside need the nails pounded in.

Nice house but outdated

Overall, the house was nice and accommodated our group of two families. Plenty of room and kid-friendly, but pictures didn't accurately reflect the wear and tear of the house/furniture/pool. No welcome kit or information upon check-in and very difficult to reach the rental company. Refrigerator began leaking on first night and had to haul all our food to the basement fridge. Rental company came by a day later to offer a small cooler for our use. Views were spectacular. Easy drive to public beach access.

Overall okay

Property is worn. Specially, pool needs redone. The rest of the house is worn as well, but a bit expected from being a rental. Overall, I thought the bathrooms were cleaned, but the house needed to be further cleaned once we arrived. Only 3 chairs for outdoor porches. Views were amazing.

Very outdated! Looks nothing like the pictures! Try cleaning under things. Yuck dirty not cleaned

Dirty outdated and nothing like the pictures! The pictures need to be updated the furniture is stained and dirty and looks like when they sweep its under all the furniture! When we checked in the place was filthy didnt even smell clean. Toilet paper on the floors crumbs in the beds food under the beds! Charcoal pits full of old coal and cigarette butts in there also! I asked them to clean them multiple times they said they would but never did. Definitely not worth the money. At least post pictures of the property now not when it was build! Oh and the pool was dirty and had band-aids in it !!

Salvo sound home

The house is in need of upgrades. 3rd floor main room was always hot. When using the oven it was worse. Stove is old and burners never worked right. Living room sofa was badly stained, we had to cover it with the extra sheets. The pool is old, had to call maintenance to fix the jets. Location is okay although you have to drive to the ocean. Sound views and sunsets were gorgeous.
