One of a cosy, countryside cluster of self-catering farm cottages close to Hartland Abbey House & Gardens and a heart-thumpingingly wild stretch of the South West Coast Path. Very child and dog-friendly, with Atlantic views from the play area, pet animals, hot tub, sauna, woodburners, private outdoor spaces and barbecues.
An easy-going, secluded place for country lovers to unwind, with or without their children and dogs. Come for simple things like silence, clean Atlantic air, star-gazy skies and Scrabble by the fire. Walkers love the wild, craggy beauty of the South West Coast Path around the Hartland Peninsula. Surfers take to the waves at the slightest opportunity. Everyone gathers at Hartland Quay, for sunsets, swimming, and a pint at The Wreckers. And there’s plenty to visit too – Gardens, galleries – cream tea rooms of course - steeply cobbled Clovelly, and Lundy Island - a helicopter hop from the Point or a boat trip from Bideford.
The Linhay is part of what was once a medieval linhay and is now a grand-level cottage with outside courtyard seating area.
