In the village of Casesi, at the top where the road almost ends, in the private farmyard with rustic-style houses, there is our house. A rustic built at the end of the 800, several times restored.
It has a garden with pergola in front of the entrance with table, chairs and armchairs for relaxation.
On the ground floor is a sitting room, a large and spacious kitchen with a fireplace, a nice living room with satellite TV is a small bathroom.
From a typical terracotta staircase, (unfortunately steep!), you enter the upper floor where there are three double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower.
The entire house that has been recently renovated is furnished with period furniture. The floors are still in original terracotta, as well as the ceilings with the typical wooden beams.
The kitchen is equipped with the main appliances and everything that can be used for cooking. Guests have access to the washing machine located in the cellar.
The village of Casesi is a fraction of Corsanico in the municipality of Massarosa. It is a typical old village with narrow streets and stone houses. A few steps from the house there is the recently restored old wash house. It is a very quiet area.
It is the ideal starting point for excursions on foot or by bike in the green of our woods and olive groves on the many paths that are in the area.
In the heart of the village there is a grocery store with bar to buy basic necessities: bread, milk, eggs. All other shops as well as the post office, the church, the pharmacy, the restaurant are located in the center of Corsanico about 800 m.
Nearby you can buy directly from farmers, vegetables and fruits from both traditional and organic agriculture, fresh eggs from hens, pecorino cheese and locally produced local cured meats. In the port of Viareggio which is about 12 km, you can buy fresh fish caught in the sea in front.
The extra virgin olive oil is certainly the most characteristic product of the territory and can be found directly in the area.
