A single flight of stairs leads up from the front door to the first floor comprising of the master bedroom with king size bed and lounge/dining/kitchen area. On the second floor there are 2 further bedrooms and a good size family bathroom.

The lounge/dining/kitchen area is open plan containing a breakfast bar to seat 6. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven and 4 burner gas hob, fridge freezer, dish washer, washing machine and microwave plus most modern appliances. The comfortable lounge has a 3 seater and 2 seater sofas, a TV with Free view and a DVD player. A wi-fi internet is available free of charge.

Bedroom 1 The master bedroom has a king size bed and ample furniture

Bedroom 3 with bunk beds

The family bathroom has a large slipper bath to relax in after a hard day’s sightseeing and a separate shower, wash basin and toilet.

Franklyn House has one reserved parking bay in the multi storey car park approximately 3 minutes walks from the property to guarantee stress free parking especially during the peak season when Tenby town is closed to traffic between 11am and 5pm

Property is very comfortable and cozy, also plenty of space, compliments left, wine, milk etc was very thoughtful, thank you. Everything you could ever need is in this property, location is perfect, right on the doorstep to everything. Only used our car a couple of times during our stay. Bex and Dave, nothing is too much trouble, truly lovely people. Wood Shop fantastic, take a look, had to buy a smaller Buddha like the one on the stairs, I love it, ("Sell them in shop"!!!) plus a few other things, also would recommend, Anna's Zoo, great day out. Thank you for a great holiday, don't want to go home :( xx

Fantastic location. Beautifully presented and well equipped property that worked well with children

All the great reviews helped convince us to book and this property certainly exceeded expectations. It was beautifully presented, very well equipped and so close to the beach and lots of lovely restaurants and bars. The owners provided a high chair, stair gate and travel cot for us and we're even kind enough to put the travel cot up for us - a touch I really appreciated. I was wondering if the property would work well for two families with small children in tow but it is deceptively spacious and we loved the open plan kitchen and lounge.

We loved exploring Tenby, the beaches are fabulous and we also ventured down to Pembrokeshire which was stunning. We would definitely return and would recommend this property to other people.

Beccie was so helpful on the phone when we called to ask directions for the car park. Our only suggestion is a map of the car park location for disorientated new arrivals like us!

Although we do attach a map of the location of the carpark when we confirm receipt of payment we realise that this is probably not on the top of guests lists when packing for their holiday. Excellent property.

Franklyn House is a home from home. 3rd time of staying here. Bex and Dave are great. Facilities are excellent and nice touches like a bottle of wine waiting on arrival.

Perfect Getaway

Franklyn house is amazing!! homely but luxurious. Lovely touches like the bottle of wine on the breakfast bar. Tea, coffee and milk in the fridge. Towels left out with a bag with body wash and hand cream. Made us feel special, Also permit for parking in the multi storey. Bex and Dave cant do enough for you. I am sure I sent Bex at lease 10 emails and she replied to all of them. They have thought of everything to make you have a wonderful time. Definitely book again and again.

stylish apartment with all mod coms, central loca

comfortable, stylish apartment with wifi, dish washer etc. Centrally located on a busy street behind the church and lot of eating places, pubs within staggering distance. However area is noisy, though we got used to it. Would recommend The Moorings( need to book) & The Plantagenet (expensive).. Visited Caldey Island and would suggest taking a picnic as only one place to eat and easier to go on a long walk as stunning scenery. The owners were helpful though did not really need them. Car parking a nightmare and the fact that a parking slot comes with the apartment a huge bonus. I liked St Mary's church with its medieval bits. Would stay again.

A newly renovated three bedroom maisonette sleeping 6 plus cot, Franklyn House is located within the historic walled town of Tenby.

There are three fabulous blue flag beaches and boat trips are available from the harbour around the clear waters offering great opportunities to spot dolphins, seals and the other abundant wildlife or take a trip to Caldey Island to see the Cistercian monks and sample the home made chocolate.

Walk out of the front door and you are in the heart of Tenby with great access to shops and restaurants and within 2 minutes walk to any one of the beaches.

Walk along Tenby's South Beach toward Giltar Point and join the 186 mile Pembrokeshire Coastal Path for fantastic views of Caldey Island and discover some of Pembrokeshire’s many hidden coves. Walk the narrow cobbled streets of the old town lined with elegant Georgian properties or sit in one of the many cafes which offer alfresco dinning during peak season and people-watch visitors to the many gift shops, restaurants and public houses.

Franklyn House is also perfectly located for offering easy access to Pembrokeshire’s many visitors’ attractions such as Tenby golf courses, Oakwood and Heatherton theme parks, Anna’s Welsh Zoo and many more, or visit one of Pembrokeshire’s castles, Pembroke, Manorbier and Carew castles are all within a 15 min drive.
