The Cottage is delightful, it has all you need for an enjoyable stay. The beds are really comfortable and the wood burner makes it very cosy. The fact that the Cottage is isolated is a real bonus. You drive up a track and through a lovely wood (full of bluebells when we were there). I'd recommend it.
Amazing stay! The best cottage we have stayed in so far and we have stayed in alot of cottages in Shropshire. Stiperstones pub is also lovely! Highly recommend a visit there for a meal. Thanks again.
Secluded Little Gem!
We stayed with our two dogs JJ & Cena from March 15th -19th. We loved the look of the cottage from the website, but when we actually saw it for real we fell in love! There was absolutely nothing we disliked. It had such a lovely feel, so homely. We even had a sprinkling of snow, which made our stay even more magical. The beds were wonderfully comfy, & the shower was brilliant! The water did wonders for my hair, so much so, I bottled some & brought it home! The setting of the cottage was second to none, surrounded by woods & fields, & so peaceful. It was like something out of a children's story book.
The owners Geoff & Ruth were brilliant to deal with, their communication with us was excellent! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your beautiful cottage, we will definately be returning.

Beautiful location with walks from the door. We were lucky enough to have superb weather for February & enjoyed walking straight onto Stiperstones from the cottage. Absolute silence with fantastic starry evenings sat toasting marshmallows on the fire pit with only the intermittent sounds of owls to be heard. High standard of cleanliness with everything we needed. Would highly recommend to others who want to enjoy peace & tranquility with endless walking opportunities.
Secluded and peaceful
My partner Samantha and I, as well as our dog, had a fantastic 4 night stay at the cottage.
We were very grateful for the use of the land rover to get to and from the cottage, as the track could definitely be described as rural!
The cottage has been renovated beautifully, and the photos on the wall detail all the hard work that has gone into it. All the amenities you could require were present, meaning we were not left wanting for anything while we stayed.
We especially loved the log burner in the lounge, and our dog loved chasing fallen apples around the large paddock directly outside the front of the cottage.
We discovered some fantastic walks, some directly from the front door, whilst others were only a short drive away in Church Stretton and Welshpool.
On the 2 clear nights we had during our visit, the view of the stars was superb. With no neighbours and trees surrounding the area we had an unobstructed view to hundreds of stars in the night sky.
All in all, I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to get away from it all, and I would not hesitate in revisiting again myself.
Cosy retreat away from the world
The house is comfortable and well presented with style. The drive up to the house is a small adventure, much appreciated our dogs. The house is welcoming for dogs as is its surroundings and the local area. Even local small towns were welcoming for dogs, ours have never had so much fuss or as many treats. As our visit was in November we were lucky to have rain only at night when we were tucked up costly with the log fire. The country round about was beautiful with autumn colour and early mists, overall a lovely place to be
