This delightful farm cottage enjoys lovely rural views and is a short drive to the south coast an area renowned for its wonderful mix of pretty beaches and dramatic coastal landscape. The seaside town of Ventnor is also a short drive away as are several small bays including the picturesque Steephill Cove one of the prettiest areas of the island. The larger sandy beaches of Shanklin and Sandown are nearby for exploring or lounging and taking in the views. The cottage is set within a wonderful walking and cycling area with footpaths and bridleways on the doorstep linking it to popular local walks such as the Stenbury Trail and Worsley Trail. The local village of Whitwell home to the oldest pub on the island is within walking distance. Upon entering the single storey detached property you ll find a delightful open-plan lounge with comfortable corner sofas large windows and TV/DVD. There is a small dining area in the bright kitchen that s fitted with an electric oven halogen hob microwave refrigerator and dishwasher. The adjoining utility room contains a washing machine and tumble dryer. Patio doors lead out from the living room into a fenced courtyard with views across the fields. Along a short hallway are the two bedrooms - one king-size bedroom with fitted wardrobe and a second twin bedroom. There is a separate bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Step outside and there is a fenced courtyard with garden furniture and BBQ the perfect spot to relax and enjoy wonderful views across the stretch of farmland. Guests have access to an open grassy field that joins a footpath leading into the centre of Whitwell. Outbuildings for bikes storage is offered and there is off-road parking for two cars on a gravelled area.
