This beautifully restored and renovated 1800s farmhouse is the perfect beach getaway. It has a brand new gunite saltwater pool and is 1/2 mile from the LI Sound and 1 mile from the town of Southold. Nearby are many restaurants, beaches, seafood markets, wineries, etc. Greenport and Mattituck Villages are both 10 minutes or less away. There are many of the top rated wineries within walking or biking distance. Everything in the house is brand new; marble showers, brand new granite and stainless steel kitchen, dual zone Nest central air, high end free standing gas fireplace, new white pottery barn linens, french press/ percolator/ Nespresso coffeemakers, charcoal grill, etc. It is a 1 1/2 acre property with a huge fenced in yard. LED lighting in the pool and beautiful landscape lighting. The neighborhood is amazing, take long walks on the Sound beach or enjoy Horton's Point Lighthouse Park at the end of the road.

This house spoke to me the moment I walked in. It was beautifully renovated but still had so much of it's original farmhouse charm. The way the light travels through the house throughout the day is stunning and brings me a sense of peace. The property and neighborhood is serene and beautiful and I love the North Fork.

Gorgeous, Private and Relaxing Stay!

My husband, dog and friends stayed in this house in November for a weekend away before the madness of Thanksgiving. We could not have asked for more! Anya is an amazing owner who was extremely responsive and accommodating. We felt the property and house were even more beautiful than the pictures--- Anya took great care in renovating the house with every detail of layout, lighting scheme and creature comforts accounted for. We could have easily had another couple and still felt there was privacy and space for everyone. The kitchen had everything we could have needed and we enjoyed evenings of preparing food (used the charcoal grill and firepit) and drinking wine in front of the fireplace. The beds, linens and towels were all hotel grade (if not better!) and we all remarked we slept like rocks the entire stay with very little outside noise.

Our city pup enjoyed the expanse of the yard with the convenience of the fenced in lot to put our mind at ease. The house is in a charming neighborhood and we enjoyed walking down to the small beach at the end of the road to watch the sunset. The house is also very close to Southold and we easily accessed restaurants, shopping, farmstands and wineries on the North Fork.

Our only regret was not being there in the summer to use the gorgeous pool and spend more time outside--- we will simply have to return!

Beautiful retreat..

This property has everything you could possibly want and exactly as described. Location is perfect for anything you want to do on the North Fork. Anya was available from start to finish and a wonderful host. The house is pristine, and welcoming. We look forward to booking this property for a much longer stay.

Great place to spend time with family

My family including 2 adult children stayed over a weekend recently, to unwind and spend some time together. The house is very recently renovated: everything is new, clean and comfortable and it's very nicely decorated. There is plenty of space both inside and outside to be together or to have some solitude. The grounds are very nice and the pool is great. It's a nice neighborhood, a quick drive to anything you need to buy (supermarket, fish store, bagels, farm stands, restaurants). A ten minute walk down the road gets you to the lighthouse and its museum and pebble beach, though the beach is at the bottom of an enormous flight of stairs. Loads of vineyards in the area if that's your thing. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and basic supplies. We only ate out once, at The Iron Skillet in Mattituck, a delicious and unique place. It's tiny, so advance reservations are advised. Anya was very easy to deal with, and responded to emails promptly. I would definitely recommend staying here. My only other comments are that a microwave might be helpful, though we were fine without one, and also that if you're traveling with small children, this may not be the place for you: although the whole property is fenced, the pool is not.
