A very comfortable mountain chalet

  • 5 of 5

Chalet Doug was great. It has very comfortable beds, the kitchen is well equipped and the living room has lovely views along the mountain valley. Barbara was very helpful with our questions before arrival and gave some great recommendations while there. Thanks very much!

Great Ski Chalet

  • 5 of 5

Chalet Douglas was perfect for our family (all adults) ski holiday. The chalet was warm, spacious and had a well equipped kitchen - and wonderful views. The ski area was suitable for all levels of skier and we were lucky to have fantastic snow.

Fantastic Spacious Chalet

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for New Year as 2 families of 3, the chalet was spacious, superbly equipped and very comfortable. The equipment and home comforts were great. The ski bus does stop literally at the door and although it is a walk to town (10 minutes, 15 with stroppy ski tired kids!) the walk was very welcome after all the traditional French cuisine and the area is lovely so enjoyed the stroll! Barbara could not have done any more for us and answered every last question we asked and provided lots of helpful info. We would highly recommend the chalet and will definitely return. Thanks Barbara! ;)

A lovely chalet in an ideal location

  • 4 of 5

A very clean and tidy chalet in an ideal location for a summer holiday visit to the Alps. The chalet has plenty of space and was ideal for our family of two adults and four large teenagers. The balcony from the main reception room has great views across the value and down to the Mont Blanc range. Morillon is great place to visit in the summer. We swam in the small lake (very cold!) and did plenty of walking, taking the ski lifts uphill and walking down to save on legs! Barbara and Neil were very helpful in organising our booking and making sure everything was okay for our visit. Highly recommended!

Fantastic spacious and comfortable chalet

  • 5 of 5

The chalet is wonderful and spacious with great facilities and equipment. We couldn't fault it in any way. The setting was perfect - within walking distance of the village centre and a short drive to many activities and beautiful scenery. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this chalet to anyone. We were there for three weeks and it was the perfect base for a brilliant summer holiday.

warm and stylish chalet in stunning location

  • 5 of 5

The chalet is situated in the village but on a quiet backroad just a short walk into town. It is a little climb on the return if wearing ski boots but it is worth the effort to be located amongst such beautiful countryside. There are lovely walks up through woods immediately from the chalet or down to the river and along into other towns. The views from the chalet are truly stunning from every angle. It is well equipped with good quality kitchenware, tableware etc. The beds are comfortable and two of the rooms were of a good size the third being a little smaller with the extra bed in it.

It was warm and inviting with a lovely sociable living space, tons of hot water and pretty much everything you could want from holiday accommodation. Convenient to get the morning fresh bread and very close by car to a good sized supermarket.

The children loved its garden area to build their snowmen, and we felt it safe enough to let them play out there and watch from the windows. We even managed to sit out on the balcony a couple of times in the sunshine despite having more snow than we have ever seen on our trips to the Alps.

We took very small children to learn to ski at Sixt Feu a Cheval just a few kilometres away and it was lovely and quiet for them and had a good bar to sit and watch the efforts with on road parking just adjacent. It was a good alternative to Morillon for beginners.

We had the best holiday and would love to return to this great chalet again.
