As you awake and open the balcony doors you will be greeted by blue skies and a magical view looking out across the bay to St Tropez. From here it is your choice whether to relax in the private garden, take a soak in the pool, splash in the sea or stroll through the park into the centre of the village.

Built on the site of an old mansion in 2006, the tastefully furnished and extraordinarily well equipped villa has everything you could need for the perfect holiday on the French Riviera. Upstairs are two double bedrooms (one with en-suite), a twin bedroom and family bathroom. Downstairs is open plan with generous kitchen (with breakfast bar), dining and lounge areas. Also, a further shower room with WC .

WiFi is provided and there is air conditioning throughout and the quality of the accommodation along with the luxurious fittings are sure to make your stay memorable. The double bedrooms share a private sun balcony with sea view.

Outside is a covered terrace area and private garden belonging to the villa. Within the villa complex there are two secure car parking spaces. There is an outdoor pool which is shared with the other villas on the site.

Why Bridget Dyson chose Les Issambres

We fell in love with the location when we were looking in the area 12 years ago at the possibility of buying a property there for family holidays. We loved the village of Les Issambres, it is neither too small or too large. The whole area is very pretty with lots to see and do. The beeches are great, lots of sandy ones or rocks if you prefer. Our villa wasn't built when we first visited the area, we jumped at the chance of buying where we are as we love being so close to the sea and the fabulous views we have from our bedroom balcony. I love the fact that we can walk in to the village within 10 minutes and that the walk is on the sea front, there is a little wooded park area across the road from our villa which you walk through and from there you follow the path in to the village.

What makes this villa unique

The great thing about our villa is that it is light and airy. We kept the downstairs open plan which is so much more user friendly, friends and family can sit at the kitchen bar and chat while we are cooking or doing whatever. We have got a really good sized garden, the shrubs and trees have now matured so it is very private and pretty. The swimming pool is a good size and although it is shared it never feels to be too busy.

Fresh bed linen, bath and tea towels are provided at an extra cost of €20 per person. (Please note beach towels are not included and house towels must not be used in the swimming pool / garden area or on the beach). Cleaning at the end of your stay (€100) or interim cleaning if required (€50 for a basic clean) is in addition to the weekly rental rate. (Please note cleaning does not include the kitchen, which is guests responsibility and will be an additional charge if not left as found at the end of your stay). Payment for linen and cleaning services must be made in cash to the Caretaker on arrival.

An excellent villa to holiday with family

We spent a week in this fabulous,well equipped and comfortable villa, the only missing "should have" was a high chair for our 1 year old grandaughter..... however, my daughter had packed a booster chair that served the purpose. ... not ideal , but adequate!

The shared pool was brilliant , as was the reasonably close proximity to a lovely, sandy beach... ( about 10 minute walk) . We loved exploring the area , and using the water taxi to St Tropez.... a wonderful experience!

Given we had a toddler and a baby with us we used the gas BBQ for our evening meal on a few occasions and loved sitting on the comfortable and spacious terrace watching the sun set.... perfect location for a perfect holiday.

We were disappointed that the sprinkling system was wrongly set and came on at lunchtime for most of our holiday.... this spoiled our lunchtime experience, but the good news for future guests... it was reset to early morning the day before we came home. I must add that this was out of the owners control , but none the less a nuisance for our family.

Hence the 4 instead of 5 star rating!

We would not hesitate to return to this villa if we return to this area .

Exceptional quality!

Beautiful villa in a fantastic location, with stunning views of the sea. Easy walk into the centre of Les Issambres with many local amenities. Very easy to get around the surrounding area, with a wide range of activities available to suit all tastes.

The villa itself is extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean, with a spacious terrace and a well maintained pool. Inside it is very well equipped, with everything you might possibly want, a real home from home!

Excellent accomodation in a great location

This is our second year staying at this villa - the fact that we have returned says it all. This is a beautiful villa - it has all one could need and is exactly as depicted on the website. It is within walking distance of the local town (10 minutes) which has a small supermarket and plenty of restaurants. The beach beside the villa has stones (it was fine for us) so if you do prefer a nice sandy beach then there is a nice one at the village and others beyond. The pool is also lovely. The local caretaker is very helpful and readily available if required and the owner is very responsive and helpful. In short - highly recommended!

Everything we needed plus much more!

We stayed as a family of four adults and two children and had a fantastic time. The villa is beautifully and completely provided with high quality furnishings and equipment and so much space. The garden and garden terrace made for beautiful outdoor living, the large grassed garden was great for the children's play. Everything has been beautifully maintained, including the wonderful pool area, although shared it is large enough and never felt crowded.

The location is so very convenient with easy access to the beach, park and the village. The greeting and advice from the local manager was excellent and very comprehensive.

Would we and our family stay there again, absolutely!

Many thanks to Alistair and Bridget for letting us stay at your wonderful villa. With a 20 month old toddler the villa was perfect for our needs, with the option of relaxing in the private garden, around the shared gated pool, or at the local beach which our little boy absolutely loved!!

The grounds surrounding the villa were very well maintained and the location was spot on, with the choice of some lovely beach restaurants and various amenities within walking distance at Les Issambres. We also enjoyed visits to some beautiful resorts/towns within a short drive such as St Maxime, Gassin, Port Grimaud or St Tropez, accessible in 15 minutes by boat.

The villa was very clean, comfortable and modern and came with all the high quality household items we needed.

All in all a truly wonderful stay and would certainly recommend!

Lovely villa - Highly recommended

We had a lovely week at this beautiful villa at the French Riviera. The villa is very well equipt. It has all the utilities you need. It has a terrace with plenty of sunbeds and also a pool close by. The villa was clean and delicately decorated.

I can highly recommend the villa.
